Wedding in the Hill Country

My son got married and our family stayed at this property since it was closer to the the venue. The property had plenty of space, had everything you needed and is in a great location. We wished we would have spent more time there. It has 3 bedrooms upstairs, 1 downstair and a den. I do wish the den was enclosed, my mother slept in the den because she did not want to go up the steps. It still worked out. Only recommendation is that the property does need some updating, but it was clean and what we needed for this event.

Excellent Stay

We loved everything about this property. The house was amazing. Big. Clean! Wish we would have stayed longer. Busy with a wedding, we couldn’t really enjoy all the amenities. The pool was gorgeous. The deer every where was awesome. Everything stocked. I would recommend and or stay again if we find ourselves in Texas again. My host, Austin was amazing and got back with me promptly and supportive. So easy to deal with. Thank you for sharing this lovely home w my family.

Beautiful setting

The house was very clean and well appointed on a beautiful, private and large lot. The pool was such a bonus. It was not far from town but you felt you were miles away. It was also a nice change not be inundated with house and property rules! A great rental!

Great house on beautiful property

There were 7 of us and plenty of beds for all. The house was clean and well stocked with what we needed. Pool was well kept and wonderful place to relax in the hot weather. Would highly recommend this home!

Great home base for a wedding trip

Our family flew in from multiple states for a wedding. The house was pristine and in good repair. We enjoyed watching the horse and goat across the back fence at the end of the big backyard, the hot tub and pool, and especially having a comfortable place to visit with family we see so rarely. We picked up groceries nearby which made mornings relaxed. The manager was very responsive. The price ended up being reasonable even with all the taxes and fees. I’d stay there again.

Dripping Springs Delight!

We were visiting friends that live in Dripping Springs and this was a perfect spot for us to stay! The 4 bedrooms and bathrooms worked well with our group size and there was a lot of fun activities for the kids to enjoy while we were at the house!

Beautiful place full of deer

Property was great, had plenty to do and space. We woke up every morning to dozens of deer grazing and wandering. This was a pleasant surprise. Shuffle board was fun and tons of games for family time. Thanks, if we’re in the area again, we’ll definitely book again.

I don’t normally write reviews but felt a need to in this one

Overall this is a good house. But….Upon arrival I had a few questions like where I could find more towels and how to work the air conditioning. The property manager was quick to answer but it was determined that the air conditioning was not working. He did send people out to fix it but that took 2 days to figure out the problem. The refrigerator was leaking water the entire time we were there. The property manager knew about the leak and they were waiting for a part.They really need to organize the kitchen and get some instructions posted for the stove. There is a trash compactor (doesn’t work)that is in serious need of a deep clean. The master bath downstairs has no blind or shade on the window. You can see right into the bathroom from the backyard. No showering when anyone is outside. I have addressed these issues (and a couple more) with the property manager. I realize that things break but the air conditioning and the refrigerator were broken when we arrived. I have been in communication with the property manager for the last 2 weeks but they are slow to respond to my request for compensation. If they address the issues this property currently has it would be a decent choice. Hopefully they will do the right thing issue a fair refund that makes us both happy.

Gorgeous property and a great place to relax!

Easy to get to, gorgeous house with plenty of space to hang out and relax, even with 8 adults. We spent most of our stay in the pool and it was amazing! Strategically placed under the beautiful oaks, it's in partial shade so you can splash around without burning. Plenty of bathrooms and beds for a large group and amenities provided. Great communication with property managers.

Perfect family get together spot

The house was amazing and I would highly recommend it. We’ll stocked and beautiful location. The only issue I would say we had was with the management company’s communication. They were great about some of our silly questions re the Wi-Fi and turning on the stove, but completely unresponsive re a last minute $600 we were charged for “extra guests”. I did answer “how many guests” we would have at the house as 12 because I didn’t realize they meant how many people staying in the house. But besides that, the house is advertised as accommodating “12 guests”, so why would there be an additional $600 fee the day before check in even if I did have 12 guests staying in the house? I messaged this all to the management company the day before check in and “Brett” never responded to this issue. My message history on my VRBO app re this issue was deleted as if it was never there. We did file a dispute with our credit card so they removed the charge from our credit card, but it does not appear that this management company ever reversed the charge on their end.

Overall good experience

We came out here for 5 days to stay near some family that live in Dripping Springs. Overall the property was great. It was clean, with a lot of space. Good layout for groups. Well stocked with towels, toilet paper, blankets, shampoo/conditioner, etc. The kitchen was well-equipped with coffee maker, pots/pans, even a Ninja blender. My only real suggestion would be better communication from the owner. Prior to the day of departure, I heard nothing from the owner. On the day before, I messaged through VRBO and was told that I would get an automated message on the day of check in with check-in instructions. I was traveling all day and out of pocket, but when we landed I had heard nothing. Messaged again through VRBO and got no response. There was no number to call. Feeling a bit panicked on a Friday night at 5pm, I messaged through VRBO help and at least got a phone number, which I called and was promptly sent check-in instructions. While staying at the property, again it was a good place but there was no communication. No information there. The oven was not so easy to use - and there were no instructions. I had to look up the oven manual on Google. No checkout instructions. No information whatsoever. I did have to message for some help with the pool and once I asked for a number, someone did text me and they were very helpful getting me the pool skimmer that we requested. Overall, a decent experience but could improve with some communication.
