About this property

Our condo is NOT on the island of Maui. It is located on Molokai.

Escape to our beautiful 3rd/top floor condo with ocean views, including views of Maui and Lanai. In whale season, you can whale watch from our lanai! Enjoy the fully equipped kitchen and lovely resort amenities. Molokai is like taking a step back in time, 50 years ago. Molokai is where you can experience the simplicity and peacefulness of “old Hawai’i”.

You will be given a personalized code to access the condo. You will have access to the entire condo and its lanai. There’s also a community area with a pool, cabana and BBQ for you to enjoy. There’s a coin operated laundry room onsite. You will have one unassigned parking spot onsite. Our condo is located on the 3rd floor, with no elevator.

Renting a car in advance is highly recommended. There are taxis on the island but limited. Uber is an option also. There is no public transportation available. Guests have access to one unassigned parking space at Wavecrest and must display parking pass at all times. Wavecrest does have sporting equipment to loan out for a $10 deposit.

Great place to get away

Location is as advertised. If anything, it is bigger and nicer than the pictures. Great view of the beach, and we were lucky enough to be there during a full moon. Host provided great written recommendations at the Condo. Conveniently located between town and east end snorkeling. Recommend taking a drive to the west end beaches and a hike to Moa’ula falls.

Short Molakai Get-Away

We only has two days on island but we made the most of them. We loved the East side and are glad we stayed on this side. Beautiful, quiet & peaceful.

Highly recommended!

The view from the lanai was gorgeous. We loved sitting out each morning with our coffee as the sun came up over the ocean. The condo had everything we needed for our stay. The location was perfect for getting to the various parts of the island. I would definitely stay here again.

Peaceful Christmas

Absolutely loved the place. View is breathtaking, the room itself is beyond wonderful. I can’t say enough nice things. I wanted some peace and quiet away from Honolulu and I found it. Very highly recommend.

Finally Broke our Bad Travel Luck Streak!

After some bad experiences with our last few vacation stays, this place was a welcome relief! Impeccably clean, comfortable bed, and great kitchen set-up. We LOVED relaxing on the lanai after a long day of hiking—the pictures don’t do justice to the view! I was nervous about staying in an apartment-type situation in case of noisy neighbors, but it was surprisingly quiet even on a Saturday night. We did meet a few “tropical pests,” but that’s to be expected in Hawaii and didn’t detract from our enjoyment of the place. The fly swatter came in handy! (Tip to fellow guests: keep the glass door to the lanai closed at night to avoid attracting bugs inside!) Lastly, shout-out to the host for responding quickly to any questions before our arrival and making us feel welcome. We were very happy with this stay and felt we couldn’t have picked a better spot in Molokai. Mahalo nui!

A little hidden gem

Good stay

The property was clean and the complex it was located had a nice view of neighboring islands. The location is about 20 minutes away from town where you'll do most of your eating and grocery purchases. The one complaint I had about this property, and it isn't necessarily the apartments faults, is that everyday at 4:58am a Rooster next door would wake us up. I live in Hawaii so I understand the problem with chickens, but the timeliness of it was very unfortunate.

A good stay

Property is as advertised with accurate photos and was clean and nicely appointed and adequate. The condo building was aging but seemed to be well kept. The grounds and pool were great, although no beach area. Third floor location was more than made up for by a much better view of the sea and grounds. Nice trade winds kept the condo cool, so AC was not needed or desired. Hosts never failed to respond in timely manner to any questions we had. Overall a good experience

Beautiful location.

Real pleasant experience staying here. All necessities provided, including coffee ,linens and beach towels. Having beach towels was nice so we didn't have to bring them with us on our trip. We arrived at night fortunately our GPS took us right to the driveway. GPS on the island can be a little iffy at times so we took screenshots of directions to places we wanted to visit and hand wrote them sometimes also. There is a vending machine for cold sodas and water by the pool which was handy because there were no stores very close. Really not that far into town though. Pretty much this place is right on the beach. Great location. Overall really happy with our stay.
