Welcome to Just Beachy!

Located in The Palms within the heart of Destin, this is a perfect vacation getaway spot! The community offers a playground, one of the largest Lagoon Pools in Destin, a hot tub, fitness center, tennis courts, and a basketball court! The resort offers a beach shuttle to take guests to June Decker Public Beach, Henderson State Park (fee applies to enter), as well as Harborwalk Village (check with the front desk for the shuttle schedule)!

This beautiful 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo is fully furnished and located on the fourth floor. The condo has an open dining and living space with an attached balcony that joins both the living room and master bedroom.

2023 Family Vacation
This is our 3rd trip to Destin and staying at The Palms of Destin, we absolutely Love the resort! My kids love the pool so much! Such an amazong Family Friendly resort! The room was very clean and fit all six of us perfectly!

Could have been better
Property was nice. Room was just okay. Many outlets didnt work. Wi-Fi didnt work the entire time regardelss of rests. There was a ticket open and we were told to reset it. Again. Hallway on our floor smelled like stagnate old shellfish.

Nice get away condo
The condo was nicely decorated, clean, and fully met our expectations. It’s located close to the beach and the community pool is spacious if you don’t want to play in the sand. The grounds are well kept. We definitely would return for another visit. There was only negative comment… The entire Okasola County needs to adopt a recycle program. I could not find a recycle bin anywhere! What a disappointment especially from a community that makes money from the environment.

The place was nice but...
We arrived and I saw how nice it was and said out loud "wow, I don't feel worried about my baby crawling around in here, it looks really clean!" I ended up eating my words when he found nicotine pouches in the floor of one of the bedrooms(we have never bought those in our lives), quickly got nicotine poisoning and I thought he was dying. He was barely responsive and limp as we waited for the ambulance and I have been traumatized ever since. He is okay now but I'm not really, just trusting God to heal and help me through it. There was plenty of communication between myself and the property manager and they were polite.. but no one ever offered to help pay for the hospital bill, ambulance, or waive the cleaning fee. So we were left feeling like they are not willing to own up to their mistakes, and that's not something I want from a vacation home.

We noticed roaches in the kitchen on the second day and there was roach killer under the sink, which tells me they knew this was an issue. I contacted property management and did not hear back for 2 days until I reached back out. We purchased more roach killer and even pulled out the stove and it had not been cleaned in months. Under the sink was also cleaned, but we threw away any food that was on the ground or could of had contact with roaches. Very disappointed management just offered $150, saying in the contract they do not give refunds, not even asking for receipts for losses or anything for the time and effort I needed to put out while on my vacation.

Perfect space in the perfect location
We had an amazing stay at this VRBO. It was clean and exactly as described. The walk to the beach is perfect for early mornings, afternoons, and sunsets after dinner. The pool and staff were really amazing too.

Actually the property was wonderful! Pools, hot tub, Pickleball, tennis, we’re all very nice! The condo Was very clean and in great condition. The owner will be replacing the living room furniture and putting in a better table and chairs. The beds themselves were wonderful very comfortable. The property manager and maintenance were right on top of every little issue. And very appreciated!

Overall had a fantastic time. Very kid friendly and once we realized we had to get a dog tag from security we were never bothered about our dog. The condo was perfect for our needs, but could have used a deep cleaning. Will definitely stay again. Perfect location and close to the beach. Lots of activities within a mile of the condo.

Palms of Destin review
First off, we arrive and were told the hotel is not pet friendly and was confronted by the security. Could not get ahold of Makayla . Called twice. Our room was not worth the money we paid. Tub drained slow. Pots and pans were nasty and old. The room for my daughter was not something you would even call a room. It was basically a nook. Not happy one bit. The whole place was just dirty and did not smell good. As as I'm concerned, refunds shoulda be set In place for moments like these

Easy location, nice property
Close to beaches, almost walkable if we didn’t have a toddler with us. Great family-friendly pool set up. Easy check in and navigation of property. Only downside was there really isn’t food available for purchase on the property - it claims to have a coffee shop and bistro that serves “breakfast lunch and dinner” but they don’t, actually. Just good coffee and stereotypical beach cocktails.
