Stayed two nights at Docs Log Cabin while we hiked some of the local trails. The cabin was small but clean and very functional with everything we needed to enjoy our time there. The store next door had a nice beverage selection and the folks were very friendly and helpful
The cabin and location were both for our trip. Checking in was a breeze and the people at the store were very friendly and helpful. The cabin itself was cute but hadn’t been cleaned for some time. There was pretty hair all over the furniture and dust and bugs. The needs were comfy, the internet sketchy but all in all I would stay there again
Doc's cabin is a nice place for a relaxing stay host was pleasant and let us check in early. There was some confusion on cleaning fee as we added an extra day but were charged an additional fee,not sure if we will ever see a refund on that but oh well.
The lodging was great and having the convenience store right there on the premises was invaluable, along with the laundrymat in the back. Super nice and helpful host! Highly recommend!!!

Staff was amazing. Cabin was ok. Not worth the 178 that we paid for the night. It was clean, hair all over. Shower had mold. Bar of soap left in the shower with hair on it. Couch was full of hair. Beds uncomfortable.
Cute little cabin. Small but worked for us.
We never did find the electric heater.

The hosts were very friendly, and the cabin was clean. However, it was about 200 feet from a 70 mile per hour highway, the waterfront that it was supposedly on was a dried out river bed, and, most disturbing was the fact that the cleaning lady was evidently spying on us and reporting conversations that we didn’t even have to the hosts.

Cabin was nice noise from highway was loud and there was a propane smell in the house. Owners were nice as was older person living next door who helped get fire started. Very smart and kind person
I made arrangements with host some months ago to have my good friend and his family take over the cabin for the stay. (We were going to a wedding down the road). Anyway all went well the first night, that is they checked in and stayed the first night out of three. The next day they were informed that another group was booked in for biking event and the shower. My friend being extremely chill and flexible he agreed to move his family to another location that the wedding host had access to. Imagine my surprise when he told me that about what occurred. Bottom line a little refund is in order.
We show up to the property and pick up the key from the store next door, no property manager on site. The “cabin” is adjacent to a busy highway(loud). There is a derelict trailer right next to the cabin with two men living there who creeped out the wife immediately. We go into the cabin, immediately we smell raw propane indicating a propane leak in the cabin, the kitchen range was leaking, and there was an ancient propane heater in the cabin as well that could have been leaking gas. While I was checking that out the wife looked at the beds which were dirty with hair all over them. The property manager would not answer their phone when we called them. We had to rent another accommodation. Do not rent….
I enjoyed my stay. My only "complaint" is that it is closer to the highway than I expected. There was some traffic noise, but it was still OK. The bed was comfortable, plenty of dishware, etc., nice hot shower. A friendly "warning": the automatic drip coffee maker is extremely slow. It makes good coffee, just takes a while.
It had everything we needed. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed relaxing on the porch in the evening. Definitely would stay here again.
