The Oasis on the River has so much to offer. NO POOL . Located on a quiet street for you to enjoy the serenity that this place has to offer. Sit in the back yard next to the river, outside fire pit, backyard patio, 2 kayaks located in shed for you to use, and a spot to park your boat in the water. You're just a short distance from Crystal River either by boat or by car. Plenty of restaurants to choose from and some are on the water so pull your boat up to the dock and enjoy. While in Kings bay look for our famous manatees in the water. Now lets talk about the house. The inside has an Eat in kitchen with a view of the water in backyard. Dishwasher, ice and water fridge. Plenty of room to spread out and enjoy a meal or to just relax. Washer/ dryer are available in laundry room. All beds have brand new mattresses. All bed rooms have a tv with lots of apps to choose from. The driveway has plenty of room to back a trailer in if you bring your boat. BOAT LIFT CAN NOT BE USED. !!!! But most of all Enjoy your stay!! POOL is no longer available!!

Great Place

A little shallow at low at low tide for our pontoon so try and bring large fenders to push away from sea wall or plan on a bow to tie up with possible stern anchor. Approximately 20 min idle speed to main river channel but everything else spot on. So basically the positives far outweigh the negatives listed and would go again. Thank You Mike G

Great place

Great place to relax and get away. Close proximity to just about everything in Crystal River. I wish that I had brought our boat. Easy access to private boat slip and easy access to Crystal River. Also, pet friendly although we decided to let ours stay at home. Highly recommend staying here.

Great birthday weekend

Rented for my daughter's 16th birthday, weekend.. House had plenty of room, clean and had anything and everything you forgot to bring.. it was a home away from home. The canal was so peaceful and the kayaks they provide is a great perk for exploring the canal and seeing the wild life. The teens also loved the pool and the firepit. Roasted marshmallows for the win! Would definitely rent again and highly recommend for a fun family vacation.

Your Average VRBO Experience

So, I gave this a 3/5 for the following reasons..we were very excited about this weekend and chose this VRBO because of the boat slip and pool. We were dissapointed as half our reason for choosing this property was defective and couldnt be used. The other half had issues as well. This is not a cheap place either, and the pool is clearly advertised as safe and operational. The pool is is disrepair, dirty and dangerous. The filter was totally dirty and clogged. There is a bees nest on the ladder and ants everywhere. There was no chlorine, although we found some and tried to make it better. But upon further inspection, the rails on the waters edge side are totally rusted through and broken. You can see the pool leaning and bowing that way. As it turns out, one of us does pools and deemed this one unsafe during our stay. The master bedroon is a converted garage, it seems. There is a step right at the door, that initially, I nearly broke my ankle on. The master bathroom is super small, but you have a laundry room sink for use. The TVs only have apps, no local TV, so plan accordingly. There is construction up and down the road for new sewer lines, so trucks are up and down the street. The boat ramp we used, that was recomended, was $15. The boat lift was stuck up so that made it problematic, my boat roof was stuck at high tide, so I moved it out. At low tide the boat hit the ground by the seawall, so be aware if you have a boat. The channel is deep, but near the seawall is shallow, so without the slip, you could damage the boat. I wouldnt recommend this property in this condition, at this price unless it was the last option on your list. Even then, id recommend getting a hotel room at Days Inn and a boat slip there.

Scalloping!

Property was real clean and end a great location. Plenty of room for our boat and the pool was a nice touch. The owners were real responsive and flexible. We will definitely be back!

Great place

This place is right on the canal which is awesome and the boat ramp is close and was free. Not a far drive to where all the restaurants are. Seen manatees in the canal. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful relaxing vacation

This was a very nice place for me and the family! Scenery was amazing with manatees swimming up to property and conveniently setup for fishing and getting boat offshore. Provided kayaks were awesome for exploring canal! Definitely on the list to revisit!
