One of our favorites
This property was everything we could have asked for. Location was perfect, clean, quiet street, all the necessities in the kitchen (except maybe could have used a couple of bigger mugs.)
We went to Pittsburgh for a Pitt sports weekend, and the convenience to upper campus was excellent. Easy check-in, and Cortney was super-responsive and communicative through the whole booking/staying/closing process. It was a pleasure to feel like he really wanted us to enjoy our time here.
Bed was comfy, and although we didn't need the extra bedroom on this trip, there may be future trips where that will come in handy. We would have liked a different living room furniture configuration if we had been in the house more, as it is a bit difficult to see the t.v. where it is positioned right now. Not a problem for this trip, as we were hardly there, really just to have breakfast, and sleep. It was a busy weekend!
Love the deck out back. The winter sun hits it just right in the morning, and it was really nice to sit out there and soak in some sunshine.
Walking distance to Liberty Ave, where we found a great local bar, Silky's Pub. Strong drinks, reasonably priced, shuffleboard, and even though we didn't eat there, the food looked amazing. Next time, we'll get our burgers there instead of at Stack'd (which was also great, btw.)
