Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. This home is in a quiet neighborhood right across from the bay. You can see the bay shore from the home. There is a boat ramp 1/2 a mile away. Apalachicola or St. George Island is 10 minutes from this home as well. This home is owned by a local who has lived here for over 40 years. She would be happy to be your guide. We are pet friendly and no longer charge a pet fee. If interested in a month long rental, please message us about the long term discount. We have lots of games & books, as well as a Firestick but we do not have cable TV. Our water is on a pump which unfortunately means the water pressure is not strong in the shower. Lastly, a friend is using and parking by the apartment on the property and stores his boat at times. He will not be in your way.

The property is in a perfect location to hit St George, Apalachicola, and Eastpoint. Very quiet part of the neighborhood. The host bought little toys for our two boys and left them on the table for our arrival which was such a sweet gesture. I will absolutely stay here again!
We have stayed at numerous house rentals in the Florida Panhandle over the past 15 years, each one for two weeks in winter. This one was a renovated old ranch-style house that lacked access to the shore. It had a motley collection of furniture, some of it in poor repair. The host was good enough to supply a recliner that my wife needed for sleeping, but it was a small and cheap one that functioned poorly. The kitchen was minimally equipped for serious cooking, lacking several small but important items. The major household appliances worked well, but the microwave was old, rusty, and had been amateurishly repaired. The house was clean except for dirty windows that impeded the views of the surrounding woodland. A plus was the collection of attractive watercolors and prints by the house owner on historical and natural subjects that decorated the walls.
We arrived Saturday afternoon the home was easy to find and ready for us. The pictures are very accurate. The water pressure in the shower was low, as mentioned in previous comments, but everything else was great.
We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you for sharing your home with our family.
The house was nice. Very clean and comfortable. Convenient access to stores and a short drive over to St George Island. Communication with the owner was seem less. I would stay there again.
We visited briefly for a friend who wanted to celebrate in Apalachicola. It was a 10 minute drive to downtown Apalachicola. It was big enough for our family and we were able to bring our dogs. I messaged with a ton of questions that were all answered very promptly! It was a great stay.
We enjoyed our four days staying at this nicely remodeled cottage. The location is perfect for jaunts to St. George Island or downtown Apalachacola, but we also found plently to entertain us in the little town of Eastpoint, too.
The cottage has space for 3 to 4 adults to sleep and eat or play board games. The decor is fitting for a Florida fishing town with special touches of the owners artwork on the walls, as well as pillows.
We were happy to find a nice, big kitchen with a good supply of condiments, spices and even a few Keurig coffee cups (which we replaced).
Communication with the owner was easy with quick responses.
I would (and have) recommended this location to friends and family looking for a quiet place close to beaches, shopping and great restaurants.
This house was perfect. Very spacious, very clean. Big front and back yard, our dog love it. We brought her portable fence and she laid outside relaxing most days. The only thing not listed in the profile is that it is a shared driveway but plenty of parking on the sides. The apartment mentioned is the garage in the pictures and is occupied, so remember that when parking the first day. Other than that all was as listed or in the reviews. We did not see any bugs or creepy crawlies inside but remember this is a rural home in a rural town. There are wild life and bugs outside and one or two are going to make there way inside. We had an awesome time. Very laid back area. We will be coming back. So much different than southern Florida.

Lots of dead bugs throughout house. My wife got at least 6 spider bites on her back, legs and arms. The refrigerator was not working when we checked in and the owner had to provide an ice chest with ice until a new refrigerator arrived the next day. We had a difficult time getting the TV to work properly and the owner had to make 2 separate trips out to fix the problem. We finally were given the owners ROKU to use. Not much to see or do in the area. We cut our trip short and checked out early.
Decent place for the money but issues with TV, refrigerator, and bugs. Firestick would not connect and we could not watch the Masters on TV. There were dead bugs on the floors and I killed a spider in the silverware drawer. The refrigerator would not cool. We put our things in the fridge and didn't realize that it was not cooling until the next day and we lost some food and milk. When I reported the issue she said she thought it was fixed but later found out the part was still not in.
The house on the inside was extremely clean and the decor was execellent. The outside area leaves alot to be desired. The grass wasn't mowed, light on the outside were none, ant beds by the door coming off the deck and no lights on the back deck. The other thing I have to bring up is the garage appartment occupied.
