Sanka's Casita is a 750 square foot, 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit that takes up the first level of the newly remodeled 3 unit Bear Naked Bungalows. No stairs are needed to enter the property or Sanka's Casita. The main bedroom includes a king size bed with en suite bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen size bed. Both bedrooms have A/C units and pool and mountain views.

Great Stay in Zihua

Everything about this property was exactly as advertised - clean, comfortable and well outfitted. Close to La Madera beach, Malecon, many shops and restaurants. Trips to the mercado were interesting and rewarding, but there's a convenience store close by as well. The hosts offering to pick up some groceries and stock the fridge in advance was a huge bonus. The shaded pool was perfect after climbing the stair back from the beach or from town. We expect to book again. JC

It is hard to know where to start about what we loved about our stay. The property is very well set up with all your needs. Very very clean and modern. The pool & the views! The landscaping!! The location is central to both beach and dinning. The home is set up very safe. My only issue is I had to go home. I highly recommend this location.

Enjoyed our stay

Matt and Ali were great hosts and living In the same building. Matt worked hard to help me watch March Madness and the Formula One race. Good location in the middle of everything. Loved the salt pool.

Matt and Ali: Ali is a native Washingtonian, and Matt grew up in Tennessee. Ali went to Washington State University and worked for the Lake Stevens School District for fifteen years. Matt spent ten years working for an arena management company in Everett, WA. Before that he spent time at an arena in Bakersfield, CA, with the Tampa Bay Lightning in Florida, and a minor league baseball team in Tennessee. We love to travel, and look forward to introducing more people to the wonderful people and town of Zihuatanejo.

Why they chose this property

In 2016 we decided to buy a condo in Zihua. The following year Matt quit his job and sold a separate business, Ali quit her job and we moved to Zihua. In 2020 we purchased a house on Playa La Madera and spent a year and a half remodeling it. Ali volunteers at a local animal shelter and is dedicated to animal care, and loves to cook. Matt is a nonprofit consultant and also is the executive director of Global Impact Homes, a nonprofit focused on providing housing for those in need throughout the world. Together they manage their properties in Zihuatanejo and assist others with their rental needs. If you want to visit Zihua then we hope to help you with your stay.

What makes this property unique

We spent over a year searching for the perfect property. We love this location because of it's proximity to the beach and to town. It also has lots of space to spread out, a yard, and from the property you have views of town, the moutains, and the bay of Zihuatanejo.
