A group of my girlfriends and I got together for a motorcycle trip to red river gorge. The property was perfect with the amentities included and was stocked with all the dishes and toiletries we needed to accommodate such a large group! We loved our stay this was the best VRBO experience I have had so far!
It was a great place to to get away. The location is secluded, the hot tub and pool are clean and enjoyable, the kitchen nicely appointed, and very clean. A beautiful home that we will likely visit again.
Our first impression after seeing the gorgeous exterior was that it smelled amazingly CLEAN when we opened the door. Everything was gleaming from the floors to the ceiling. The hot tub is very private and looks brand new. The main TV was broken from a lightning storm. We like to watch Halloween movies at night, so we let the owners know. They responded immediately and had it replaced with an even bigger one. They bought us extra matches and lighters for a fire, too. The owners are so nice and VERY quick to respond. It's such a beautiful cabin. It looks even better in person. We would love to come back. I highly recommend this place!
This is our second stay, this time last year my husband and I were married in the Gorge. We returned this year and had such an amazing trip. We were blessed with great weather this trip- we had two nights of a sky just full of stars. Thank you for another year of amazing memories!
We loved your place! Pool wasn’t warm enough but we enjoyed the hot tub and loved the game room especially the shuffleboard table! Internet is spotty but just meant more time for Rockin on the porch! Would love to come back some time!
Believe all reviews when they tell this property had EVERYTHING !! AWESOME !! Stocked with it ALL !! LOVED this property !!

Vrbo review
The hot tub and game room was very enjoyable. There could be some quick small improvements or amenities that could make the stay even better, such as: downstairs bedroom closet repair and ability to hang clothes, dish and hand towels availability, and top bunk bed squeaking repaired.
This cabin was perfect for our family of 8! The location was great for the Red River Gorge area. Secluded but close enough to town. The pool was fabulous for relaxing and the kids to play. The game room, corn hole and darts were great for family entertainment. Plenty of space. Great communication with owner for check-in. Lovely set-up inside and outside. We would definitely stay again! Thank you for helping us have a great vacation!

RRG STAY
Overall great Thanksgiving at the Gorge. House is perfect for our family 6 adults and 2 toddlers. Son in laws enjoyed the game room, especially shuffleboard. Toddlers had ample room in the open living area. Couple maintenance issues, microwave door was being held shut by a napkin wedged in it and upstairs toilet seat was broken. Hot tub was used all 4 days as was the fire ring. Front porch is a time warp to simpler times.
We had a great time relaxing at this cabin. We rode dirt bikes down the road at KYXC and this was a very convenient location to relax. The kids enjoyed the game room and we all enjoyed the hot tub. House was great with plenty of room for everybody and everything was provided. One thing to be aware of is that the house sits a ways back a narrow road, the road isn’t steep and it’s paved and in good shape, but we had a trailer and it was a bit of a challenge to back into the driveway. No fault at all of the house or owners and I’d absolutely recommend staying here, just something to know before you show up.
We had a wonderful time with our teenage children. We really enjoyed the outdoor area . With the pool and the hot tub it was the perfect place to relax. We all fell in love with the resident stray dog (we named him Swiftie for the week since all of our teens love Taylor Swift). We noticed that he was full of ticks so we bought him a flea and tick collar and some drops for his ears. By the time we left, all of the tics had fallen off. We really hope that others will continue the treatment so he can live more comfortably :) Overall, great place and wonderful family weekend!

Red River Gorge Family Hiking
Let's just say this stay started out a little rocky. We showed up to a house that was NOT clean. Floors, counters, sheets on bed, couch, etc were all dirty. Owner did quickly remedy the situation and get their cleaning crew back out to the house. After a second round of cleaning the house was definitely cleaner. If you like to sleep in, I recommend looking for another location or bringing a white noise generator. Like clockwork every morning the neighborhood dogs would start barking around 7 am. Game room is nice, but there is evidence of mold from water coming in during heavy rains. We witnessed this upon arrival. A long-term remedy for the water intrusion should be high on the priority list. Exterior of house, BBQ area, and Pool area could ALL use some TLC. Newer really nice Weber grill, but unfortunately it had never been cleaned and the grease in the bottom started on fire shortly after lighting. This place could easily be a 5-star rental with a little sweat equity and a day or two of a handyman's time.
Highlights. Kitchen and pantry were well stocked and great for our family time. Living room with woodstove was AWESOME for the chilly nights. Mudroom with laundry was great to leave gear after a long day of hiking, Bedrooms all were spacious and had comfortable beds.
Overall the trip was great. The rental just really needs some TLC. As I mentioned above, the rental definitely has the bones to be 5 stars.
The house was exactly as the pictures show. It is spacious, clean, and equipped with many extras including some coffee, board games, lots of kitchen utensils and staples, towels for inside and outside, etc. The only consideration is there is spotty service and WiFi, but they have tons of DVDs if the smart tv isn’t working. The host responded nearly immediately and seems to be very on top of things. Such an amazing getaway! Would return.
We really enjoyed our stay all around. Thanks so much!
