One of the most beautiful vacation homes (with guest house) is a much admired beach property in Southern California, thirty miles north of San Diego on 'Moonlight Beach' in Encinitas. There are many things to do in this area during the summer and year-round: swimming, surfing, fishing, volleyball, taking the trolley into San Diego, and going to the famous Del Mar races.

The home is located in a gated villa 100 yards from the water's edge, with unobstructed views and easy access to the beach. Beautiful gardens surround a large central patio, and the entire property is in authentic Santa Fe Style. When you're looking for the perfect getaway, this luxury beach house is one of the most exceptional beach front rental homes in Encinitas.

The main house has two roomy bedrooms and one bathroom. One of the bedrooms is a converted art studio with large windows to allow in plenty of sunshine. The kitchen has granite countertops and a cozy breakfast nook overlooking the ocean.

The guest house is just across the patio, nestled in the garden. It also have ocean views, and is completely furnished with queen bed and bath. Here you will be lulled to sleep by the sound of the waves, the frogs, and the crickets from Encinitas Creek. When it comes to planning your San Diego beach vacation, this property is first-class.

Fantastic Beach Location
We used to live in Encinitas, and enjoyed a two week stay here. The house, patio and gardens are spectacular, with a direct view of Moonlight Beach and all its activities. The Casita was perfect for the extended family, letting everyone have some privacy while sharing the main house and patio. The beach, playground, good restaurants, and entertainment are all within a short walk. Would definitely come back!

Living the Dream
The natural beauty of the beach and gardens surrounds this location, and the artwork and decor of the living spaces are spectacular. The owners are warm, generous people who go above and beyond to make a stay here a total pleasure - everything is provided for an unforgettable vacation. I hope to be back some day soon!

Love the Beach
A week isn't long enough to stay at the incredible home and location. The best part is to enjoy the beach and ocean without having to leave the patio. The large patio includes a fabulous fire place that we enjoyed for warmth and making S'Mores. The kitchen is equipped with plenty of dishes, pots and pans and utensils.Loads of local cafes and there is lots of surfing in the evenings/mornings that we enjoyed watching. We plan to return to this spectacular home.

Tip Top Vacation
This was my second stay at this fabulous home. The first time was 2003 and this was my first choice for my return to Encinitas. There is nothing like this home anywhere. The location was convenient to shopping at major stores plus the charming town of Encinitas. The kitchen was easy to use and equipped with all the pots and pans etc. that I needed. Mostly we walked to local restaurants. The home is light and airy. One of my favorite passtimes was to sit on the Patio and enjoy watching Moonlight Beach. Sunsets were beautiful.

Beautiful property with a wonderful location. The home is warm and comfortable with an amazing view of the sea. Easy walk to town. Able to walk right out the front door and for miles along the beach. Loved sitting on one of the lovely patios and having my morning coffee. The landscape is beautiful with gorgeous succulents and various flowering plants. The property is clean and well maintained, but still has a wonderful artsy feel to it. A spectacular place to enjoy a relaxing beach holiday.
