Super private cabin nestled in the woods. It is the closest cabin to the Elk Visitors Center. If you don't mind the hills, you could easily walk to the Center! Perfect for a couples get-away. Relax and enjoy the quaint atmosphere with vaulted ceilings, rough cut beams, full kitchen, authentic 100 year old tin ceilings and tree tops out every window! Sleep in an antique bed while embracing modern conveniences. Beautiful year round location to sit on the porch with coffee or enjoy the firepit on cool evenings. Perfect cabin where rustic meets romance. All of this with a gas pot-bellied fireplace. So close to everything, yet so private.

Sweet winter getaway

Enjoyed everything about it. Cabin was perfect. Had a nice little snowstorm that night woke up to winter Wonderland. Good fun good food seen elk both days. Keep up the good work thanks for everything. Would definitely stay here again

Elk viewing & autumn leaves

Very cozy. Special attention paid to everything! The elk were still bugling and it was snowing autumn leaves. Great way to take a break from day to day stress and reconnect with my spouse.

Great cottage!!

This sweet little cottage was just perfect for the two of us! So well laid out and comfortable! The decorating was wonderful, just the icing on the cake 😊 The location was great: super close to the Elk Visitors Center, downtown Benezette… We highly recommend!!

No need to look further!

A rustic feel with contemporary comfort. The owners paid attention to the details that we think matter. Cleanliness is always a top priority. From the quality towels and linens to TV and internet access you’ll find plenty of modern conveniences amidst the rustic charm. 5 star all around!

Cozy cabin

This cozy cabin is perfect for two people. It has everything you need for a great visit. We especially like the the location near the Elk visitor center, so close we could hear the elk bugling sitting around our campfire.

Benezette Cabin. Bear Drive

This was our second annual stay at the cabin on Bear Drive. Like the first visit, this cabin is so comfortable, clean and welcoming. It is the perfect way to enjoy a good book (by the fire ring), or staying warm with a blanket indoors. The check in and check out process is easy. Never a need to call the owners, as all provisions are available. Hope to return again!!

Exploring Benezette

Cabin was perfect, loved having a fire pit. We had our privacy but still close to a lot. Enjoyed searching for elk and visiting State Parks near us! Would definitely book again!!

We are a local family who knows this area well. Once you have decided to stay in our quaint cabin on Winslow Hill, we can offer advise on the best places to see elk, enjoy the local breakfasts, dinners, wineries or hunting areas.

We knew when we decided to build a cabin, that location is the most important factor, so we certainly wanted Winslow Hill, home of the Elk Herd. There is an elk trail that goes right by the front corner window of the cabin, maybe they will come visit you!
