Nestled in a valley of apple orchards, this charming 3BR/2BA Hendersonville house offers a haven of relaxation with easy accessibility and no need for 4WD. Spend quality family time in two large living areas, enjoy meals on the screened porch with dining table and rockers, and enjoy drinks around the firepit in your leafy backyard -- all set on a private two-acre plot.

Access the driveway directly from a paved road, this property offers a beautiful rural tucked-away setting, yet this 'Apple Country Retreat' is just a short drive to Hendersonville amenities and a host of destination attractions, including Biltmore, Chimney Rock State Park, Lake Lure, Dupont State Forest, and downtown Hendersonville.

LIVING AREA

Natural light pours into the stylish main living room, outfitted with a sectional and beautiful gas fireplace. After a day of adventure, host a movie night on the 43 TV.

A spacious second living area has a large sectional.

KITCHEN & DINING

Just off the living area, a big kitchen makes it easy to cook and socialize. This well-equipped space features ample counter space, a full suite of appliances, and a breakfast island for three.

The adjacent dining area accommodates eight.

BED & BATH

The master bedroom has a king bed, makeup vanity area, and a 32 TV. An en-suite bath boasts dual sinks, a walk-in shower, and an inviting jetted tub.

The second bedroom is furnished with a queen bed and 32 TV, while a third bedroom includes a full-over-full bunk bed and 32 TV. The adjacent family bath has a tub/shower combination.

OUTDOOR AREA

A screened-in porch lets you relax and dine outdoors enjoying the beautiful western North Carolina evenings. Kick back in one of the rocking chairs, or dish up meals around the porch dining table.

Head to the backyard, where you'll discover plenty of space to roam among the tranquil, tree-dotted grounds. In the evenings, toast marshmallows around the firepit.

Complimentary Wi-Fi, a washer and dryer, driveway parking for two cars with additional parking in front of property, and smart TVs allowing guest log-in to their personal streaming accounts (Netflix, Amazon, Roku, etc).

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

House in pretty rough shape

We were disappointed with the physical condition of the home. Torn screens, an awful kitchen sink, master shower head hanging loose, the weeds around the exterior were knee high, so ticks were everywhere.

Quiet Country Stay

This was a nice place off the beaten path. We found some trails nearby and enjoyed the scenery. I had pictured something a bit more secluded with some land for kids to run around. It was a little close to the road and other houses for my preference. The house was clean and plenty of room for our family of 6.

clean, spacious, close to chimney rock

went to hendersonville for a family reunion and this house was perfect. there was so much to do between lake lure, chimney rock and downtown hendersonville. This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.

Peaceful stay

We loved our stay. The property is well located . It was spacious and clean and very peaceful. A wonderful place to unwind after a busy day visiting the waterfalls / zip lining and white water rafting! I would recommend this place to anyone !

Very clean and nice

This was a great place to stay. It was very clean. We did encounter a bear the first night by the fire pit. The bear was caught eating out of the trash can. He ate and left, he did not cause any harm. The only issue we had was the queen bed was very hard. No one could sleep in it. However i did not notify management, we just used the sofas to sleep on. Other than that, it was great and very relaxing.

Queen bed was way too hard like sleeping on floor, needs a foam topper. But king bed was very comfortable. Peaceful setting once you get there. Great porch!

A lovely stay with an amazing lake view

Easy to reach place and was really clean. The place is amazing with lot of amenities and games. The one thing I want to point out that there was no toilet tissue available and to get it you have to travel a little more to the outside. The porch with a lake view is breathtaking. The place is quite big and can accommodate easily 8 people. You should increase the limit . It was a great stay and we enjoyed it. The best part inside was the Clue board game for us.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We reached a little late in night to the place. It is a little difficult to find in the night. The house is amazing with all the amenities. The place was clean. The response was really quick about any questions or inconvenience I had and they worked really quick on that. The view is nice if you are looking for a secluded place. The fire pit set up is nice. Overall we loved our stay there and definitely recommend it.

Nice place

Overall, the property was nice. Stains on the living room carpet take a bit of getting used to but the rest of the home was quite clean. Hot water was gone fairly quickly so a larger group may have had difficulty showering too close together. TurnKey was very receptive to our questions and quickly resolved a fireplace issue which helped a great deal. All things considered, it was a good experience.

A lovely get-away in apple country

Truly an apple country retreat

We just had a wonderful time relaxing at this home. It was spacious. We thoroughly enjoyed the fire pit to grill steaks and make smores. Only criticism was that we found the beds too firm.

Overall good, but mixed feelings

We`re pretty sure that this was the first rental of this property under TurnKey`s management. The property was nice and the home was very clean. The space was well suited for our needs and looked exactly like the pictures!However, there were a few issues... The hot water heater was turned all the way down so we had to find that and turn it up. There was no trash can and no trash bags in the kitchen (they were locked in a closet in the kitchen). Once we got over those things it was overall very good.The location is quiet and peaceful, but it`s far from the tourist attractions in Asheville. Plan on at least a 40-minute drive to most destinations, not the 20 minutes that were advertised.This is the 2nd home we have stayed in with TurnKey and not the last. They do a great job with their properties and you always feel that you have support when needed and this time it was definitely needed.
