Lovely location
Great property in a perfect location, within walking distance to the vineyards. The setting was beautiful and peaceful. However, the cleanliness could have been better, so I took off one star. Overall, it's a wonderful spot if you don’t mind doing a little tidying up upon arrival.

Great value for visiting the area
A very nice home in a quiet area yet close to all amenities. We were racing at Ride Rock Creek which was a short commute for anyone coming to ride there.

Weekend getaway
The property needs some TLC. There are several items that need attention. Bathroom needs repairs window, toilet needs replacing. Kitchen needs more essentials, coffee mugs, bowls, pans etc. Location was very nice being close to everything.

Cute Cottage, Wrong Location
The WW2 Cottage is very cute and architecturally maintained well, but the furniture is primarily antiques so they have taken a beating from guest. (Hinges not working, drawer stuck, coffee table top loose. Also you are 20 feet from a busy highway with no view of the vineyard, and on the Mechanical side of the main Vineyard building. Dumpster pick up is quite early, workers start blowing off the area at 8am outside your bedroom windows, no black out curtains or shades in the bedrooms so headlights and the vineyard building security cameras shine in at night, in the bathroom you can look up and see a guest from the vineyard patio dining area waving at you. Just really uncomfortable. As I say before, the cottage in lovely, but the location is not restful or anything I would like to repeat.

Rustic Getaway
I gave it a 4 because it was very clean, but it definitely needs some TLC. The bathroom needs to be remodeled with a new toliet, a larger sink and replacing the rusty drain (which is such an easy fix). The rusty drains in the kitchen sinks should be replaced and the sink relaxed (another easy job). The lighting was very dim and there were no extension cords to plug in other lights. No instructions on TV or DVD, which thankfully we figured out. The shrubs by the stairs were growing over the handrail and the front porch could use a new coat of paint. Someone left trash in the outside can and animals got into it and spread it all over the driveway. I hate to be so negative because we did enjoy our stay and the house was extremely clean, but Burntshirt needs to know this is a reflection on them and they definitely have the funds to keep this place in tip top shape. I would stay here again if these issues were attended to.

The Vintners Cottage is architecturally prefect for a WW2 home. However it is primarily decorated with antiques that were not designed for short term rentals,so some are broken. Plus it is 20 ft from a busy Highway and on the mechanical side of a Vineyard, so no view of vines but lots a AC units. Not the quaint setting advertised.

Loved it but
The bathroom needs to be more thoroughly cleaned the commode is stained. The stove and oven in the kitchen are wonderfully vintage but need to be serviced we can use some of the burners or the stove because they smoked and we had to quickly turn them off. We love the place it needs a little bit of cleaning and updating the beds are horribly squeaky but honestly we would stay there again,

Vinter's Cottage in Hendersonville
The cottage is quaint and cute - however - there are some serious drawbacks that are not apparent when booking. Although the beds appear vintage - they are incredibly loud with any movement whatsoever; the noise from the road is loud - very little insulation, particularly for the 1 bedroom closest to road; check in during daylight - it is very dark and there will be no lights on; with the well water - let's just say its an aquired taste; there is no handbook associate with the property - you have to guess at everything (many light switches - just no logic for which lights they work); the only place to charge your laptop is in the kitchen or bathroom (all other sockets are old without a ground plug). Personally, i would stay in a hotel next time

Getaway to Hendersonville
This place was okay. Didn't get check in information until 9pm that night so had to call in to get access. House was not vintage but dated. Needs some care and attention. Location to winery was good. Used it as a place to sleep as amenities were minimal.

Charming
Charming, clean and only steps away from our favorite vineyard’s tasting room. I can’t wait until the Bistro is open!

Wonderful weekend
This was such a nice cottage and very nostalgic. It was in the perfect location for all things winery related. Everything was clean, comfortable, and we didn’t want for anything. We will be staying here again. Thank you very much
