The Thunderbird Cabin is located 70 miles from abq NM.
The Thunderbird Ranch is surrounded by the Cibola National Forest only 70 miles Southeast of Albuquerque. This house was built in the 80s and I live there for five years before I turned it into my summer home. Great place to stargaze and enjoy hiking in the forest with nature. There is both indoor and outdoor space at the house where you can cook Outdoors on a campfire. Sometimes because of fire dangers it's not allowed but when it is you're welcome.
