I most definitely enjoyed staying at Cole's Lodge. Jamie, the Owner was so pleasant and personable. The Lodge was extremely clean and the location was convenient to everything. I would recommend Cole's Lodge if you are in the area for 1 day or 1 week. Susan "Kathy" Nelson
The check in process was a breeze with parking right outside your door, the room was spotless, and the proximity to the beach considering the price was perfect. It was such a nice little getaway, I can’t wait to go back. I never had to contact the property manager, because they communicated everything I needed to know prior to check in an email. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for an alternative to the crowded touristy beach areas.

Not bad just not great
If we saw one roach we saw 100. My son had a small roach on his pillow. The door lock didn't work very well. poor construction has everything out of square so doors don't shut or latch without a lot of forcing. It was an ok place for me and boys to sleep and go fish. Had my wife been with me, we couldn't have stayed. the amount of roaches were just too much
I checked in late to my room and unfortunately it was double booked. I called the manager and she quickly went into action finding me some where to stay. The only place available at that hour was a place called the Moorings. I do not recommend that place at all. They paid for my overnight stay there but I only stayed their long enough to get a shower and a little sleep. The smell woke me up about 4 in the morning so I got out of there.
The next night they had a place for me and it was great. I would definitely stay there again but I will for sure call and have them double check that it is not double booked. I will sleep in my truck before I go to the moorings again.
Coles lodge refused to refund any money and in their opinion all is good because the furnished me a place to stay. They did offer an unknown discount on future stays. I hope to see what that is one day.
The cabin was super clean, with nice big bathroom and good layout. Check-in was super easy. The coffee setup was great and the fridge was big enough for our weekend snacks.
I had messed up the dates on our stay. Went by the place and the owner was there. He changed the dates for us . Was updated to a bigger room. Very nice room clean had everything we needed. The owner was amazing. Would definitely recommend this property.
