LOCATION: The Shoal Harbor community is a gated community located on Rehoboth Ave, less than 1 mile from the beach and boardwalk. It is an easy walk to downtown, the beach, restaurants, playground, farmers' market, bike/walking paths, scooter/bicycle rental, and the boardwalk. It is less than 5 minutes to Tanger outlets, the golf course, and Jungle Jim's waterpark. Miniature golf, movies, and other activities are within a 10-15-minute drive.
PARKING: One assigned parking spot and one in the garage. There is no overflow.

Great Property

Was clean. We cleaned up on our last day and also emptied the dishwasher (which we did not use, so was left from last visitors). The pool was a plus and welcome break from the beach. The kids in our group loved the space and the games and amenities. We walked everywhere, very convenient to eateries and beach. We would possibly look at the same place next year. My only issue was in working with the on line reservation system. I was told if I payed by check I would save the surcharge for credit card processing, which I did for the deposit. Family Vacay

The pool was the staple of our stay! It was perfect. A bit too far from the beach and boardwalk and would have liked to have been able to play outside with the kids but we weren’t allowed. Overall it was a good vacation.

Good Place but Bad Communication

The house was a good location, not far from good restaurants, nature, and the beach. The house was perfect size and clean. The pool was a great plus for the kids! The problems were mainly with Remax. They communicated various amounts for the total that were very confusing. I had to email several times to get the true price. Long story short- the price listed on Vrbo is not the correct price you pay. It is higher due to various charges. Next Remax communicated info about the linens that were not true- they will no longer make the beds as stated in the contract. Furthermore the keys were not ready for check in. They had to prepare our packet on site as they had forgotten to get them ready. Last, the couch bed was broken upon arrival which made it difficult for those sleeping on it. I communicated the bed was broken within 24 hours and Remax made no attempt to rectify the situation. It took them 2 days to even respond to the message.

Great Birthday Weekend

The house was spacious and clean. It was perfectly represented in your listing, and we were not disappointed. The location was great, a quick walk into the shops & restaurants in town. The only challenge we had was parking,… there are 2 spots and no wiggle room, so we parked one car on the street using the city parking pass, which we were grateful to have that included in the rental. Overall, we were so happy with the house & had a great weekend with our friends. 👍🏻😊

Great place for a week at the beach!

My family (including teenagers) and I really enjoyed our stay. Really comfortable, plenty of room and all conveniences you have at home. Cooking, grilling & necessary appliances. You can pick up the trail right around the corner & dinners were a quick walk away. We’ll be back!

New, clean, and well-located!

We had a wonderful stay at this property. We would definitely consider renting here again! The rental agency made our stay run very smoothly. The check in/out process took fewer than five minutes and everything was done correctly. The condo was spotless and ready on time, we had all of our keys and parking passes, and linens were waiting for us on the porch. The unit is even more impressive than in photos. It is very new, clean, and spacious. The neighborhood is quiet but people are friendly. The walk to the boardwalk wasn't too long or difficult. The restaurants on Rehoboth Avenue start popping up just a few blocks from the condo and we were able to use the city parking pass to shuttle our group to the beach. As a heads up, we did have a few ants in the kitchen that weren't deterred by the unit's ant traps. They went away when we were more careful with storing our food and really weren't worse than what you would expect at the beach. A minor blip in an otherwise pristine unit.

I was pleased with how spacious the place is overall. The community is quiet and quaint. First thing I did notice was how difficult the parking is - if you have more than two cars. We had a third car come and parking instructions weren’t entirely too clear because we drove in circles for a good thirty minutes before figuring out where to park with the city pass outside of the commniunity. The house itself is spacious for 10 people. The couch/living room area is quiet small for that many people though. Couch only sat about 4 people. Others will have to sit at the table or the barstools. The cleanliness was not bad overall. Although, the floors were extremely dirty. It was like it was not mopped in years. Everyone’s feet were black within half an hour of being there. we all had to go out and get ourselves some house slippers and even by the end of the trip, the bottom of my slippers were BLACK. Keep that in mind should you stay here. The kitchen also has major ant problems, you will notice all the ant traps around the kitchen area. I’m not sure if it helps at all because even after wiping down the countertop, covering up food or putting it away, they still came out. The bedding comforters seemed to not have been washed or anything. The one in my room had hair all over it, another rooms comforter had blood stains on it. Besides some cleanliness issues we encountered, the stay was nice. It’s not a bad walk to the beach and it’s right next to scooter city if you want to rent a scooter to get around. There’s also board games in the House.

Wonderful location, fantastic house!

Great place, great location! Our family (4 adults/4 children) was very comfortable here and enjoyed the pool and nearby playground! A solid 20 minute walk to the beach but an easy walk. The house was tastefully decorated and well stocked with all the essentials. We would definitely stay here again!

FANTASTIC STAY & BEAUTIFUL COMMUNITY

This townhouse is beautiful. Beautifully laid out and great for entertaining. Our family had such a great time. The community is small but typical at the beach but so well kept. The landscaping was nice and pool area very clean. You can tell this community is handled with care. After reading a few of the other reviews we were hesitant to book this home but we are so glad we did. Everyone was pleasant! We will be back! Thank you for allowing us to stay.

Great home, but poor managing

I absolutley adore these homes, except for an extremely rude (potential) manager. My kids were both in the pool at 9:00 exactly and were leaving the pool right then, as the sign instructed that everyone be out of the pool at 9, the manager comes in and was unnecessarily hostile and rude. When my kids tried to explain that they were just leaving and it was only 9:01 she then continued to yell. They were then told to show her where we were staying and did not even bother to come and talk to my husband and I so we could figure it out. So if you are thinking about staying here keep in mind to be out of the pool atleast 10 minutes prior, or maybe think about going somewhere else to a more teen/child friendly enviorment.

Perfect in every way

This house is beautiful - the photos really don't do it justice. The theme of the house is nautical, but it's very tastefully done. The living area is very comfortable, just like home (it was so much like home my son didn't want to leave!). The kitchen has every amenity imaginable, great for those nights you'd prefer to eat in. There are 3 bedrooms on the second floor - one elegant master with an incredible steam and rain shower, the second has a cozy balcony that overlooks the pool area and the third is perfect for kids. There is an additional master suite on the top floor. All the beds are comfortable, we slept VERY well. Can't wait to go back next year!

Wow

Wow! What a place. Beautiful open layout that is bright, airy, very nicely decorated with a beach theme and very comfortable. All appliances are modern and up to date. All the beds were comfortable allowing for a good night’s sleep. The location is great with many restaurants and clubs being just a short walk from your door.

Ideal

If you've happened across this property, don't hesitate to rent it, you will not be disappointed. A group of 9 of us just spent a girls weekend and everyone was more than happy with this property. It is actually much larger than it appears in the pictures and was very comfortable for a large group. The property is also beautifully decorated in a tastefully "beachy" style. The location is great as it is an easy walk into town as well as the beach and boardwalk. I cannot say enough good things about this wonderful property and do not hesitate to recommend it.
