Birkie Weekend HQ

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our basecamp for the Birkebeiner weekend, as we were all skiing the race. This has been our 3rd or 4th year renting this location and working with RRP ... we could not be happier! This particular cabin is fantastic and conveniently located to access Birkie bussing and other logistics. Plus it is a very comfortable and homey spot to lodge. The new stove here was a welcome addition. BIG thanks to RRP staff, who have been responsive, helpful, and upbeat at all times. I have nothing but positive feedback about them all.

XC ski race

Great place to stay for race at Birkie Start area. Very convenient. Really appreciate the upgrade to a bigger house due to issues at the place we originally booked! Would def stay again!

Great Spot for Birkie Weekend

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed here for the Birkebeiner race week and it was a comfy, easy place to lodge as our base camp. No complaints about the condo at all other than the small inconvenience that the stove portion of the kitchen range was on the fritz (the top heating elements were fine, just the “baking” part was non-functional) but that was not a big deal for us and I’m sure this will be fixed. I mainly want to give huge thanks to the property management, RRP! Their communication was fantastic and so helpful! There was a massive snowstorm forecast which caused us to ask if we could come much earlier to dodge it and Kari and her team were SO accommodating and helpful!!! Good people running a good business. We’ve already booked this place for next year.

Probs wont go back! We had mice!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay at Cavalier #3 wasn't horrible but wouldnt go back. Postives: management super helpful and quick to respond. The place came well stocked with all the items you need. Beds were all super comfy,View from the porch was nice.Negatives, we had mice, on the countertops and cupboards that got into our food. We ended up keeping all our food in our vehicles / fridge. Had to wash all dishes before we used them again not knowing if mice crawled on them. The basement is super musty/wet and our clothes went home smelling like so.If you looked up at the light globe fixtures tons of dead bugs in the lights.some of the windows we could not close during the storm. as the they wouldn't shut correctly.Since we were renting another cabin with family we did not spend much time in ours. It was overlooked on our end that this unit does not have A/C or central air.
