The Häusl is beautifully situated between Kitzbühel and the Zillertal, in close proximity to the highest waterfalls in Europe, in the mountain village A - 5743 Krimml

2008 to 2014 with four edelweiss, the highest award of the regional association of Austria.

The hut has a living space of approx. 35 square meters and is equipped with underfloor heating.
Bathroom with shower, sink and toilet as well as sauna access, which is located underground in the garden.

The living area can also be heated with a basic stove.

The 4-person sleeping camp is accessible via a ladder. The beds are covered with beaver bed linen or, on request, with original hand-woven linen bed linen.
The pull-out sofa offers another sleeping option.

Twin - Sat. -TV with all European TV channels and internet connection are available.

The kitchen has an electric stove, refrigerator. Toaster, coffee machine and an additional wood stove.
A dining table with a corner bench completes the cozy kitchen.

Wonderful cozy Mountain chalet

We had a wonderful time at the hut, we loved the traditional style of the house, our kids could play on the snow just in front of the door and after a day of ski we could use the sauna :) The ski area of HochKrimml in the Zillertal Arena is just 15 minutes away! We would love to come back and we can totally recommend it!

Urige Hütte

Die Hütte war urig mit Traumaussicht. Ruhig und abgelegen und trotzdem war der Ortskern mit allen Versorgungseinrichtungen fußläufig erreichbar. Viele Wanderungen starten direkt vor der Tür. Klasse!

Amazing location, nice short drive to the slopes or get the bus, great not to be part of the usual hustle n bustle, fantastic history of the building and area, very small property but we made it work with 5 adults, will be going back again if in the area in the future. Toprated! A*

Ski-Spaß Krimml

Tolle Skiwoche. Die Hütte war soweit O.K., leider sehr schwierig zu beheizen. Großer Punkt Abzug für den Winterurlaub. Nach Jahrelanger Hüttenerfahrung waren wir der Ansicht, das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmte nicht, die Hüttenmiete war eindeutig zu teuer.

Hütte mit gewissen Einschränkungen

Grundsätzlich ist die Hütte schön, wir möchten aber auf gewisse Einschränkungen für zukünftige Interessenten hinweisen: 1. Die Sauna mit Gartenzugang muss mit dem benachbarten Bauernhaus des Vermieters geteilt werden. Hier mieten bis zu 15 Gäste, wodurch die Benutzung stark eingeschränkt ist. Das ist in der Beschreibung jedoch nicht ersichtlich. Die Saunatüre ist zudem stark verzogen und undicht, sodass nach einer Stunde anheizen nicht mehr als 70 Grad erreicht werden. 2. Der Ablauf Spüle war nahezu verstopft, die Benutzung der Küche dadurch sehr beeinträchtigt. Andere Abläufe in Waschbecken und Dusche waren geringfügig besser, aber ebenfalls schlecht ablaufend. Hierauf würden wir vom Vermieter bei der Übergabe lapidar hingewiesen, das sei bei diesem Objekt eben einmal so. 3. Der beschriebene Sat-Fernseher kann mit der Fernbedienung lediglich ein- und ausgeschaltet werden, die Programmwahl muss manuell am Receiver in ca. 2,50 m Höhe auf einem Stuhl stehend vorgenommen werden. Der Bildschirm befindet sich in ca. 3 m Höhe. Die Lautstärke kann nicht reguliert werden. Auf die Mängel hingewiesen, teilte der Vermieter mit, ein Fernseher sei bei einer so alten Berghütte ohnehin fragwürdig, wer das wollte, sollte besser ein Hotel buchen. Eine Frechheit eigentlich, dann aber bitte Klartext in der Beschreibung. 4. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter ist online anfangs gut, allerdings bestand seinerseits auch schriftlich bestätigt, kein besonderes Interesse uns ausführlicher einzuweisen, sei es bzgl. Warmwasser bis Müllentsorgung. Wir haben uns zwar zurecht gefunden, manche Fragen blieben aber offen, zu denen wir nach der eher abweisenden Ersteinweisung in das Objekt auch keine Lust mehr zur Nachfrage hatten. Fazit: Die Hütte ist grundsätzlich schön, der Vermieter erweckt im Hinblick auf die o.g. Punkte in der Objektbeschreibung jedoch tlw. einen doch höherwertigen Eindruck. Der Vermieter war nach dem Aufenthalt bzgl. unsere Beanstandungen nicht verhandlungsbereit. Insgesamt würden wir von einem Aufenthalt eher abraten, wenn man Wert auf die vorbeschriebenen Punkte legt, oder der Vermieter Abhilfe schafft.

Kuschelig und historisch

Ein besonderes Ferienhaus in traumhafter Lage mit direktem Blick auf die berühmten Wasserfälle. Die Hütte ist für 4 Personen wirklich nicht zu groß und liebevoll mit allerlei Fundsachen eingerichtet. Die Betten sind in einem Matratzenlager (d.h. man sollte kraxeln können und keine Platzangst haben). Holz für den Ofen war vorhanden, Streichhölzer mussten wir aber extra kaufen. Die Hütte war bei unserer Ankunft offen, eine besondere Einweisung durch den Vermieter gab es nicht. Die Saune ist vorhanden und in einem Keller untergebracht. Möglichkeiten zur Abkühlung (Holzfaß etc.) gibt es auf dem Gelände aber nicht, man müsste dann zum Duschen in das sehr kleine Bad in der Hütte gehen. Störend war der defekte Abfluss in der Küche und der daraus resultierende exkelhafte Geruch. Außerdem war es schwierig, den Müll in dem sehr vollen Müllhäuschen zu entsorgen (Plastiktüten dafür haben wir ebenfalls selbst gekauft, das keine vorhanden waren oder wir die mangels Einweisung nicht gefunden haben).

Historic time travel!

The cottage is an historic place and offers what is needed. It is perfect for a small group like us (Family of 3). The interior is very charming and even better then described. The sofa in the main room has been exchanged with a modern sofa and is now super comfortable. The kitchen is very original and cooking is possible. The bathroom is a bit small, but super nicely arranged and has a floor heating. I loved the shower. Sleeping is an climbing excursion, especially when climbing down! Net, net, we very much enjoyed our stay and consider to come back again. Thanks!

A really special place

Coziest cabin that was perfect for a long weekend! Kitchen has everything you need to cook and the wood stove kept the space warm. Check in and communication were easy. You need to be careful getting to the sleeping loft but the bedding is super comfortable and spacious. Sauna was great after a day of hiking and the shower takes a while to warm up but that was also fine after a sauna :) You can walk to the shop and restaurants in town and also start hikes from the property. A perfect stay for our family of 3 and our dog!

Tolle Hütte

Urige alte Hütte mit viel Liebe zum Detail restauriert und eingerichtet. Schöne Gegend, Restaurants und Einkauf in Laufentfernung, mehrere Wanderwege in der Nähe. Eigentümer immer nett, schnell und hilfsbereit. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und würden gerne noch Mal kommen.

Berghut op prachtige locatie

Prachtig gelegen eenvoudige berghut met uitzicht op de Krimmler watervallen. Geschikt voor sportieve niet al te lange mensen. Bed bereikbaar via vlizotrap , lengte matras is aan de korte kant. Geschikt voor 2 personen. Naast de hut staat een groot huis voor meerdere personen, kan ook een groep zijn. Wij hadden daar wat geluidsoverlast van.

Bijzonder huis op unieke lokatie

Wat een charme en fijne sfeer heeft dit vakantiehuis, bouwjaar 1700 (!) Op maar een uurtje lopen van de Krimml watervallen. We hebben het heel goed gehad, fijn buiten zitten (neem wel muggenspray mee!), alles voor handen. Slapen op sofa was ok, hoog op het trapje voor de avonturiers. Heerlijke douche. Kortom een hele fijne ervaring voor de 2 nachten die we er waren.

Kurzurlaub im damals

Ich war 2 Nächte auf der Hütte. Alles wie beschrieben, einerseits urige Hütte, sauber und Küche gut ausgestattet, andererseits WLAN und Fernseher. Mir hat es sehr gut gefallen und der Vermieter ist super nett.
