About this property

Between orange plantations, olive groves and vegetable gardens, idyllic country house located by the sea. What awaits the visitor here is peace, tranquility, original atmosphere and the beautiful blue sea right outside the front door.

A peaceful landscape surrounds the vacation house LAKKOS. In front of the terrace lies the rushing sea and in the background rises the ridge of the Parnon mountains. The adjacent riverbed separates the vacation house from the small port of Plaka. At the foot of the Parnon rises the picturesque town of Leonidion with its beautiful, traditionally built houses and charming alleys. Worth mentioning are the traditional Easter festival with hot air balloons and the climbing rocks at Leonidion, a paradise for climbing enthusiasts with routes of all levels.

Built in the traditional style of stone houses of the Arcadia region, the vacation house LAKKOS radiates a cozy atmosphere. The cottage consists of the main house and a small annex. It is an ideal accommodation for large families and friendly couples with children.

The two-storey, comfortably furnished cottage, modeled after traditional farmhouses, was renovated in 2012. This neat country house exudes a cozy, rustic atmosphere and offers what the heart desires for a casual dream vacation by the sea. The terrace of the house borders directly on the sea. Access to the sea is possible directly from the terrace.

On the ground floor of the cottage is the spacious living room, 2 steps down is the open kitchenette and bathroom. The huge terrace with the pergola provides the necessary shade for unique hours by the sea.

Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. 2 bedrooms have a direct exit to the front covered terrace with a wide sea view all the way to the island of Spetses. A daybed on this terrace invites you to spend cozy hours. A rear balcony, from the third bedroom, has a view of the countryside and the mountains.

In the adjoining house there is 1 bedroom with 1 bathroom, separated by a curtain. The annex house is available for an occupancy of 7 persons or more.

Gravel beach in front of the terrace, public gravel-sand beach after about 2km in Plaka.

ATTENTION: driveway is not suitable for motorhomes, it is too narrow and there is no turning possibility for large vehicles.

Als 3-Generationen-Großfamilie haben wir 14 wundervolle Tage im rundum gut ausgestatteten Ferienhaus Lakkos verbracht. Wir wurden überaus herzlich von dem Verwalter-Ehepaar empfangen, während unseres Aufenthaltes regelmäßig mit frischen Auberginen und Eiern und von ihrer typisch griechischen Freundlichkeit verwöhnt. Die direkte Lage am Meer ohne großartige Nachbarschaft ist einzigartig, die Sonnenaufgänge atemberaubend, beim Schwimmen im türkisfarbenen glasklaren Wasser schweift der Blick über das im Rücken aufragende Parnon-Gebirge, die roten Felsen im Hintergrund, die sich majestätisch als Kulisse erheben. Im nur wenige Minuten entfernten Leonidio findet man in den Supermärkten und kleineren Läden alles, was man zum Leben braucht. Ganz besonders gut gefallen hat uns der wöchentliche Markt (immer Montag vormittags), auf dem Obst und Gemüse, fangfrischer Fisch sowie regionale Spezialitäten wie Olivenöl, Honig und Gewürze angeboten werden. Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit und das stundenlange Badevergnügen sorgten sowohl bei unseren Kindern im Alter von 4 bis 16 Jahren als auch bei uns Eltern und der über 80jährigen Oma für absolute Entspannung und Erholung. Klimaanlagen in allen Räumen ermöglichen auch in warmen Nächten angenehmes Schlafen und Moskitonetze an Fenstern und Türen schützen vor den unliebsamen Plagegeistern. All denjenigen, die einen individuellen Urlaub in ursprünglicher griechischer Region suchen, fernab des Massentourismus, sei Lakkos wärmstens empfohlen! Wir sind mit Wehmut abgereist und würden gerne wiederkommen!

Wir haben zum 2ten Mal einen Urlaub in dem schön gelegenen Haus verbracht. Diesmal mit Kindern und Enkelkind und es war für alle eine sehr entspannte Zeit. Das Haus bietet durch seine Lage und Ausstattung viele Möglichkeiten. So konnten wir gemütliche gemeinsame Zeit auf der großen Terrasse verbringen oder aber für etwas Ruhe oder um ungestört zu Lesen einen der Balkone oder die rückseitige Terrasse nutzen. Die Ausstattung ermöglichte es entspannt gemeinsam zu Kochen, um dann noch entspannter Stunden beim gemeinsamen Mahl auf der direkt am Meer liegenden Terrasse zu verbringen. Das Haus bietet alles was man für einen entspannten Meerurlaub benötigt. Der Betreuer des Hauses und seine Frau sind ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Einschlafen mit Meeresrauschen

Schönes, großzügiges Ferienhaus direkt am Meer gelegen, zu dem wir (8 Personen) nach unseren Ausflügen auf dem Peleppones immer wieder gern zurückkamen, weil der Ort zur Ruhe und Erholung einlädt. Da sich hinter dem Haus direkt der ländliche Bereich der Region mit dem typischen Gemüseanbau anschließt, hat man keineswegs das Gefühl, in einer Touristenhochburg gelandet zu sein. Einzig die nicht unerhebliche Entfernung zu den einschlägigen Sehenswürdigkeiten (Epidaurus, Korinth, Olympia) ist durch die kurvigen Küstenstrassen manchmal etwas mühselig zu bewerkstelligen, aber das ist Jammern auf hohem Niveau. Die Kommunikation mit der Agentur und der deutschsprachigen Vermieterin war hervorragend und in Corona-Zeiten konnte alles flexibel angepasst werden. Vielen Dank, gerne wieder.

Wunderbar gelegen, Einschlafen mit Meeresrauschen, wenig touristisch, da in landwirtschaftlicher Region gelegen, so dass der typische Charme erhalten geblieben ist. Wir haben es zu acht (vier Erwachsene, vier Jugendliche) sehr genossen, bei genügend Raum zum Rückzug. Einziger Minuspunkt: Die Entfernung zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten des Peleponnes: Durch die kurvenreiche Küstenstrasse hat man zumeist eine nicht unerhebliche Anfahrtszeit, aber das ist Jammern auf hohem Niveau. Der Kontakt zur Agentur war bestens und in Corona-Zeiten sehr flexibel; der Kontakt zur deutschsprachigen Vermieterin serviceorientiert. Jederzeit gerne wieder: Ort zum Auftanken!

ein wunderbarer ort, um den urlaub zu genießen. durch die riesige terrasse und die leiter ins meer, wird man förmlich eingeladen sein privates badeparadies - im hintergrund das haus mit allem, was man benötigt - zu genießen, statt Badestrände zu suchen. die ausstattung ist großzügig und völlig ausreichend. ein kleines paradies in einer landwirtschaftliche Umgebung, die dies nicht vermuten ließe. dadurch sind selbst die häuser (in unterschiedlichen ausbaustufen) am meeresufer kaum benutzt (eher am wochenende). die agentur war immer ansprechbar und sehr freundlich und hilfreich.

Das Haus liegt wunderbar und ist mit allem was für einen erholsamen Urlaub nötig ist, ausgestattet. Wunderbarer Balkon mit schönen Sitzmöbeln. Viele schattige Aufenthaltsmöglichkeiten im Außenbereich. Sehr freundliches Verwalterehepaar! Aus Sicherheitsgründen wäre es für Gäste mit kleinen Kindern gut, die zwei kleinen Türen auf der Terasse zum Meer wieder anzubringen.

On walking distance there is a nice fishing harbour with nice restaurants and walking across the beacht in 200 meters there is a cosy beachtaverna.

An exquisite location for a great house: it suited perfectly our big family: kids were happy, grown-ups even more :) ... the sea literally knocking on our door, the climbing and hiking spots just a 10minutes' drive made it perfect for us; beside, the house itself is great - everything is there to have a great holiday. The local crue is unbelievable - we had a very warm welcome, and they were there each time we needed something. (A big hands-up for finding the incredible plumber who managed to fix a problem on a Saturday - unbelievable!!!) All in all one word: perfect!!!! Thank you so much

Der Urlaub in Lakkos war wunderschön. Das Haus ist groß und es gibt alles, was man braucht. Die Geschirrspülmaschine war nicht da aber wir kamen ohne sie zurecht . Der Strand ist gleich am Haus, ruhig und schön. Das Nebenhaus ist leider ohne Klima, für Erwachsene nicht unbedingt notwendig, aber wir waren mit einem Kleinkind und mussten dann wegen Hitze im großen Haus schlafen, im Wohnzimmer, wo es kühl war. Die Nachbar sind super nett und haben uns frisches Obst gebracht auch frisches Gemüse war dabei. Die Gegend ist ruhig und zur Erholung geeignet, fast kein Tourismus da.
