This unit is a refurbished container built by an architect professor at UNC-C to house a traveling art exhibit.
It's now a unique space with a queen-size bed, single futon, and private bath and access to a deck overlooking our garden with outsider folk art scattered throughout.
For your convenience, there's a There is an intermediate sized mini fridge (adequate to hold 12 x12oz cans plus door storage or interior shelf can be removed to accommodate taller items). While fresh coffee and tea is available in the cafe during business hours, your room features a coffee station for your convenience that includes mugs, saucer & spoons, a Keurig coffee brewer that comes stocked with K cups (Starbucks & Caribou coffees as well as decaf option) in addition to the local Aromatic Roasters in-house ground coffee that is featured in our cafe with a reusable Kcup for brewing, sugar/ sweetener options and creamers both flavored and traditional. Wine bottle opener & glasses are also provided. Wall-mounted smart TV features Roku, Netflix, Hulu etc. for streaming your favorite shows. The Woodshed features a queen bed flanked by independently controlled reading lamps on both sides, 3 shelf end table with storage compartment & flip up top for adjustable height laptop workstation option. Futon couch can be converted to single bed (please let us know in advance if you plan to utilize futon as a bed so that house keeping can make up the futon bed prior to your arrival). This unit has independent climate control split-level HVAC that you can set to your comfort level of AC/heat with remote.
