The two-storey holiday house DIMITRA lies in the rural, quiet area of Aghios Matthaios, which is one of the most beautiful villages on the island. Balconies and terraces in all directions of the compass offer quiet recreational spaces in the open air. Here you can enjoy the view towards the forested hillside of the Pantokrator and over the rooftops of Aghios Matthaios. After a few hundred meters via narrow, paved walkways you are immersed in the village life. The evenings in the kafenion and the cosy taverns of the village are placid and contemplative. DIMITRA is a functionally furnished holiday house surrounded by kitchen gardens. The spacious living area with adjoining kitchen, bedroom and a small bath are on the ground floor. You have direct access from the living room to a roofed terrace with a view across the garden. A spiral staircase leads to the upper floor with 2 bedrooms and the bathroom. From both bedroom terraces you can enjoy a wonderful view across the surrounding countryside and towards the village. Winding, wild and romantic paths lead you through dense old olives groves from Aghios Matthaios to the near coasts and beaches of the island, towards Paramonas, Skidi, Kanouli or Halikounas.

We had a great time at Villa Dimitra. The house is at the quiet part of the village surrounded by nice garden. The owners are super friendly and the beach in Skala is not crowded with nice taverns.

Το σπίτι βρίσκεται στο όμορφο χωριό του Αγίου Ματθαίου κοντά στις ομορφότερες παραλίες του νησιού, σε ήσυχη τοποθεσία και κοντά σε όλα τα σημεία ενδιαφέροντος. Είναι πολύ άνετο, καθαρό και λειτουργικό. Οι ιδιοκτήτες είναι πολύ ευγενικοί και ενδιαφέρονται πραγματικά για την ευχάριστη διαμονή των επισκεπτών.

Die Wohnung war sehr schön und die Umgebung war traumhaft leider kann man nicht dort parken da ein grosser Loch von abflusswasser da und dadurch kamen viele giftigen insekten und Geruch. Es gab Schwierigkeiten mit dem Hausmeister da er kein Englisch oder Deutsch spricht. Sonst die Wohnung ist sehr schön

Sehr schönes Haus, durch die umliegenden Balkone immer der richtige Platz zum sitzen, absolut sauber und gepflegt. Besonders wichtig: komplett dichte Mückengitter für alle Fenster. Schöne Lage, tagsüber sehr ruhig, nachts etwas lauter durch den Schall vom Dorf und die Hähne in der Umgebung, aber das ist ja auf dem Land normal und war nach 2 Tagen nicht mehr störend. Werden sicher noch mal wieder kommen.

Das Ferienhaus Dimitra ist sehr geräumig, beinhaltet 4 Balkone und enthält von der Ausstattung her alles, was man für den Urlaub benötigt. Wir waren sehr zufrieden, auch über die Lage nahe des Ortsmittelpunkts. Die enge Toreinfahrt und der enge Weg zum Haus macht ein Parken in ca. 100 m - Entfernung nötig.

Sehr schön und geschmackvoll eigerichtetes Ferienhaus für 6 Personen abseits des Touristenrummels. Schönes Bad mit Eckbadewanne! Wir waren zu zweit dort und haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Das Preis- Leistungs-Verhältis ist sehr gut! Wir fragen uns allerdings wie man mit einem Mietwagen für 6 Personen + Gepäck über die enge Zufahrt zum Haus kommen kann. Wir hatten einen Ford Fiesta und das war schon grenzwertig, also kein großes Auto mieten. Wir werden bestimmt wiederkommen.

Lovely, private property within walking distance of the village. Most direct route on foot is a fairly steep path uphill. Be careful you don’t hire a large rental car as the turning into the driveway is quite tight!

Das Haus ist wunderschön und geräumig! Die Vermieter sind freundlich! Allerdings ist das letzte Stück der Anfahrt schon etwas sehr eng. Wir sind mit einem VW Caddy gerade so durchgekommen. Für ein Bergdorf war es nachts doch etwas lauter als erwartet. Also ist Fenster schließen nachts schon ratsam. Falls man mit offenen Fenster schlafen möchte. Ansonsten, wie gesagt, haben wir einen schönen Urlaub dort verbracht.
