Rock Rest Eco-Cabin on 2 acre forested lot. Mins from Wolf & Wildlife Sanctuary.
Rock Rest Eco-Cabin was built by the owners in 2018. It is thoughtfully designed with modern lines and rustic textures. Lots of special features. The bedroom has a queen bed and a suspended bunk bed. The back balcony overlooks the valley with farmland beneath the Pikes Peak mountain range. The bathroom is a perfectly clean and efficient space. The shower has a unique stainless steel surround with a polished river rock mosaic floor. With our new water well and tankless water heater you can always have a long hot shower. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to make a nice meal. The appliances are stainless steel and the counters are custom made with inlaid polished stone and fossils. The living room has a custom built twin XL daybed. A Smart TV with Netflix, Bluetooth sound bar, HD DVD player, industrial and rustic furniture. The HUGE Sliding glass door addresses the large deck with a twin XL swing and the beautiful forest and meadow where the deer frequently graze. We are located less than a mile from the Wolf and Wildlife sanctuary. You can often hear them howling at the moon. Sometimes they will respond if you howl at them.

I've stayed at other cabins in Florissant and this one takes the cake. Something about this place immediately felt like home! The host is so, so kind, and I could feel that kindness throughout the space. I'm not one who needs amenities so I still used my camping stove but it was so cool to have all the creature comforts at this space. My dogs were ecstatic to be here and I did hear the wolves howling at night! I did a VIP tour at the wolf sanctuary and it was incredible. The location of this cabin was perfect for day trips and scoping out new areas. Star gazing was amazing. Comfy bed and awesome porch set ups. What an absolute treat! Thank you so much!!
This cabin is what we needed. Not too far a drive from Denver and it’s nice to be away from all the traffic during July4th holiday. We brought our dogs who loved it too. Saw deer about every day. Highly recommend this cabin
We had a change in plans and had to take the kids. If you are staying longer with a family, this might not be ideal for families unless the goal is to break away from technology. The place is very quaint, rustic, quiet and overall nice. It is more of a romantic spot than a family spot in my opinion.
With all the outstanding reviews our family was excited to venture down from Rocky Mountain National Park area to Colorado springs for the last few days of our vacation but found this house to not be the best fit or experience for our family.
We found the house to be tidy ( things were in their place)but did not seem to actually have been cleaned - hair and residue in shower, toilet not cleaned, hair on sheets, and in need of a thorough vacuuming, and the fridge and freezer were full of items many of which were long expired.
The pictures and description of the home lead you to believe you'll be a bit more secluded than reality, just off the main road we heard car noise and saw headlights consistently throughout the early evening and early morning.
While the bunkbed over the queen in the bedroom is so cool it was not a practical choice to sleep for our younger kids as it has no guard, rail, etc and is a steep ladder climb in someone needs the bathroom during the night. An air-mattress was provided but the linens were not clean and there is not much room to set it up. No one in the family slept well at all and we decided to leave after our first night unfortunately.
We enjoyed this spot and the close proximity to Pikes Peak and several hiking trails. We especially enjoyed watching the deer as we relaxed on the deck.
I loved staying in this quaint cabin. The area was perfect with plenty of hiking and outdoor access while not being too far away from town so we could still go in for food and other things. Would highly recommend this as a stay
This awesome cabin was situated nicely in a bunch of pine trees with aspens and Maas mushrooms everywhere. We thoroughly enjoyed being in the midst of nature, even though it was right off the road. The deer were everywhere and very friendly. The front porch swing was by far the highlight. We spent so many hours just out swinging and observing nature. Wonderful rest from a very hectic life. We appreciate all that you did for us, Cynthia in the excellent communication. Hope OK. to be back soon!

This was such a cute house. We loved it.
Cosy, peaceful and comfortable. We will definitely come back.
Everything is excellent. The location feels remote but you're relatively close to anything you need. The cabin is set up nicely and is perfect for a family getaway.
This cabin is very cozy. They have all the amenities we needed for staying in for 2 days but were close enough to fun mountain towns like Green Mountain Falls and Manitou Springs that we just had to explore! A short drive to both towns we explored all day and crashed at the cabin in the evening. Very comfortable beds.
I was looking for a cozy place not too far from Colorado Springs to spend a couple of days working without the distractions of home. This was the perfect spot and will definitely be back. The cabin was well stocked with more of the “basics” than most. Close to Mueller State Park where I took a break to go hiking - absolutely beautiful hikes. The grocery store in Divide is also well stocked to grab a few things from as well. Wish I could’ve stayed longer! Though was just me - definitely roomy enough for a whole family.
This was a very relaxing and comfortable cabin. We were very satisfied with the accommodations. The county road nearby gave some road noise but not to much. The lot was very private. The location allowed us to venture out and enjoy many attractions. We would definitely stay here again. You would not be disappointed with this property.
Really enjoyed our stay at Cynthia's cabin - it had everything we needed for our mountain getaway.
The property is clean, comfy and stylish with plenty of private outdoor space where a mix of aspen and evergreen trees grow, only adding to the serenity it offers. It's conveniently located near several scenic areas that are definitely worth exploring while you're up there. Also, if you like geeky craft beers, check out Paradox in Divide, it's not even five miles away.
My only "issue" with this stay is that it left me so relaxed, that leaving was actually kind of a bummer :) We'd definitely book the cabin again!
The cabin and its furnishings are clean and modern design (not hokey like most cabins - no bears and pine trees on the bedspreads and curtains!). The lot is large and wooded, making it feel like you’re out in the woods, and providing alot of privacy even though it’s a short distance from the highway. Our little dogs enjoyed it too!
