About this property

We are a quiet ranch home that sits on 8 acres with firepit, pond and bar.

Newly remodeled ranch home on 8 acres with all the amenities and a pond. We are private and off the beaten path but within a few minutes of restaurants, shopping, grocery and Wolf Run State Park. Salt Fork, Seneca Lake, The Wilds and the Big Muskie bucket are all a few minutes drive as well. The property includes both indoor and outdoor games, pergola by the pond, firepit, grill and outdoor patio with 6 chairs, table and umbrella. Inside the home are 2 fully furnished kitchens, laundry room, bar, living and dining room along with a piano. If you are looking for a quiet property to relax with a great view of the stars on a clear evening this is for you.

We do allow dogs for a $35 fee per pet per stay and we also have been renting for weddings. Book your stay for the desired amount of guests staying then its $750 for the venue rental for the day of the wedding.

We will have tables and chairs to rent in the near future as well along with white tent.

Dirty and unfinished home, rude owner

I had booked this property for my wedding and let the owner know as well. When we went inside, we were met with a house that was not clean. The owner had said the house was being cleaned that day as someone had stayed that week. However, as we walked around the house the amount of dust and cobwebs everywhere was appalling. The baseboards were filthy with fingerprints and the bathrooms were dusty and dirty as well. We went downstairs and the kitchen refrigerator was full of mold and clearly unusable. The downstairs shower also would not work. Both ovens, upstairs and downstairs, were filthy as well. We messaged the owner with these problems and she stated that she has never had anyone complain. She came over to address the concerns and only spot cleaned some of the areas. We also pointed out that the upstairs flooring by the front door was not finished as the boards were sticking up from the floor. The owner did not fix this and stated that they thought we would be happy they put new flooring in for the wedding. Upon inspecting their socials, this flooring had been in this property for weeks unfinished. This place may not be for you if you want a clean stay and to be able to use all the amenities the property offers. This place may also not be for you if you have any complaints and have family in the area. The owner called one of our loved ones who was not staying at the property, and told her she would call the cops and escort us off the property if we were not happy with it.

Great getaway!

Great location stay for fishing nearby lakes and also shopping. Jules was a very accommodating host. House was very spacious with lots of amenities. Enjoyed our stay.

Christian Senior Men Getaway

It is a beautiful property. The house was very clean and comfortable. The host was very kind and communicated promptly with me. We enjoyed the firepit with free wood and the beautiful lake. Note that there is only ONE bathroom and the 3rd bedroom is in the basement and is not a room. The wifi was out the entire time we were there but we were told it was not the homeowners fault. Also note that there is a significant security deposit, more than I've experienced before, that I didn't know about until our group had selected the property and were in the process of reserving it. I did get my deposit back but it took 2 weeks to get it. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and I recommend it.

Lovely home & property

We had so much fun staying at Begonia Manor. Inside, the piano was a favorite, and outside, my kids loved looking for frogs and tadpoles at the pond. The internet connection wasn't the best for streaming, so we couldn't watch the movie we planned on, but we certainly did not stay here to stare at a TV screen. The doors to the bedrooms, bathroom, and laundry room were sliding barn doors, and they were quite charming. However, some guests may not wish to stay were doors to bedrooms and bathroom cannot be securely closed. It didn't end up being an issue for us because our kids are old enough to understand the need for privacy. We really had a wonderful time, and we would love to return in the future. The host is easy to contact and very friendly and helpful, and the property is simply beautiful. There are so many cozy places outside to enjoy, and the land itself invites you to enjoy the outdoors.

Loved It!

We loved our stay at Begonia Manor. The property was beautiful and peaceful. We enjoyed time on the patio and hanging out at the basement bar. Jules was very responsive to the questions I had and even came over quickly when we realized there wasn't propane for the grill. We stayed here the night before we went the The Wilds and it was just a short drive away.

Divine Connection!!

We were in AWE!! Jules (jewel) literally shine bright like a diamond. She was part of the love , family, felllowship. We were in little slice of heaven. The Peace on this property truly surpass all understanding. It is a Sanctuary and make you bow down and honor life it’s self . We had awesome amazing time. Even with a small issue Jules replied and handle it immediately. Looking for a place to leave it all behind this your place. GODS Country!!

I'm an Interior Designer and live on a working farm. Small town girl...lover of simple things, horses, and really all animals. Outdoors, landscaping, music and art are some of my favorite things. One thing I have always dreamed about since I was little was to own a bed and breakfast/event venue. The opportunity to buy my grandparents estate presented itself last summer and we decided to take the leap and launch a second business. If you knew my grandparents you'd know they loved to entertain...so to share their home with you all is absolutely fitting!
We are beyond humbled and blessed to be able to honor their last wishes and keep the property in the family. Remodeling has been a huge task and I've put thought and work into every piece. The coffee table in the living room I made along with the dining table and hand drew my grandmothers cookie receipe on the kitchen wall. We want you to feel at home and make yourself at home while you enjoy your stay with us.
We are always looking to improve and add more things as we grow, so if you have a suggestion we would love to hear that too! Thank you for looking at our property and thank you for choosing us.
