Stay in the heart of the Marigny Triangle! Just 1 block to the French Quarter and 1 block to the Frenchmen St - the center of the New Orleans music scene!

The shot gun floor plan features one King bed in the bedroom, one bathroom, one full kitchen, one living room with a couch. Located on the 2nd floor on the back of the house. There is no back yard available. The apartment is spacious enough for two guests and has a secure keyless entrance. Includes amazon firestick as the only TV option, basic WiFi, basic ground coffee machine, washer/dryer. We supply basic housewares, towels, shampoo, toilet paper, soap for your convenience.

Please be aware: the house is very old, it has thin walls and floors, and it is right behind the famous musical Frenchmen Street with late night bars - you may hear some live music or noise late at night.

-Extra guests over 2 pay extra $50/night.
-Early check in is $30 after 1:30pm, based on availability only.
-Late checkout till 2pm is $30, based on availability only.
-Parking: It is a residential area, and free parking is only available for 2 hours for anyone; after that you can get a parking ticket. We offer a guest parking permit to parallel park your car on Chartres street by the house for as many hours as you need for $20/day. Let us know if you need it at booking time, please.

Please note: We have one outdoor front porch camera recording 24/7 for safety of everyone in the building.

Great location and property
The apartment was great and you can't beat the location. Even though you're only a one minute walk from Frenchman Street the noise will not keep you up at night. The host responds almost immediately to any questions you might have. I would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay in this property. The location was perfect and surprisingly quiet given how much activity is going on in the area. The house felt spacious and easy to live in. The host kept in communication with us and was available if we needed anything.

Great Location
This was my first trip to New Orleans. It was easy walking distance to Bourbon Street and all the surrounding areas. We were especially thankful for the short 10 minute walk when we realized Cafe DuMonde was cash only and had to hurry back to the rental! We felt safe the whole time. The place was perfect for the two of us. Comfortable bed and relaxing living room couch. You can hear the surrounding music, but it added to the experience. The background sound on my phone cancelled it out when ready to sleep. I’d come back and stay here again for sure.

Nice apartment away from Bourbon
The apartment was clean, had plenty of basic amenities, and great parking for the area. The location is great too with everything including grocery stores within walking distance. Highly recommend!

This space was so quiet and literally around the corner from everything. We didn’t need a car to get around, but they offered ample parking as well. The bed was also very comfortable and the host was flexible and reasonable with accommodating our early check-in. I highly recommend!

Great Location to Explore the French Quarter
The condo was just right. It was convenient with everything being easy walking distance in the French Quarter. The public busses and street cars allow you to get anywhere you want to go if too far to walk. While we were never out late because we are getting old, we did feel safe everywhere we went. The condo had a locked main entrance door to the building and another locked entry at the top of the steps on the condo door. The condo was clean, bed was very comfortable and the washer and dryer were a great ammenity. The kitchen was beautiful, although we hardly used it. The local food is fabulous! Thanks, Michelle, for a great stay.

We had an awesome stay at this New Orleans flat. It was close to everything we wanted to do, and close to the tourist bus line. We were happy to not drive around as the closer it got to the Cotton Bowl, the more traffic there was.

A diamond in the rough
My wife and I have visited NOLA any number of times and have tended to stay in the Quarter. This property abuts the Quarter ( which is easily walked to ) but has the advantage of being around the corner from Frenchmen Street. Frenchmen Street is Bourbon Street without the tourists. The Jazz clubs are amazing and make this property a diamond in the rough. The property is spacious, well maintained, and has one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on. Add to that, Michelle, the host, is one of the most responsive hosts we have dealt with on VRBO. This property is out of the ordinary; it’s a a true New Orleans experience which should be taken advantage of.

Just finished a weekend trip to New Orleans and don’t think we could have booked a better place to stay. It’s the perfect location, very close to the French Quarter but away from all the noise that comes with it. Can walk to anywhere with ease. There’s a real grocery store about 0.5 miles away. Communication with the host was easy and very fast with responses. Stay here!!!

The apartment was better and much bigger than what I had in mind: it was very well kept and clean. Has washer and dryer, AC, and overall everything to make your stay comfortable. The location is perfect , feels very safe, with a very short walk to store and nightlife. Getting in was very easy since instructions were also very clear. Overall, I highly recommend it whether is your first time in New Orleans, or a habitual visitor.
