Cozy Waupaca getaway

This lovely little brick house sits in a quiet residential neighborhood just north of downtown Waupaca. Clean and spacious, completely redone and efficiently designed, everything you need is there plus extra treats you wouldn't expect. The price is quite reasonable. While it does not have its own water access, all the outdoor activities of the Waupaca area are available nearby.

Quite a bit less expensive than places with direct water access, but close to everything you want to do in Waupaca!

Waupaca getaway

Lovely little house just north of downtown Waupaca, beautifully redone. Clean and spacious with everything you need and extra treats. We are repeat renters and enjoyed updates this last time. This place is a great value, be assured the only reason for the great price is lack of its own waterfront.

This is the second stay for my sister & me. We like the central location to downtown & other fun areas. The property is extremely clean & well appointed. With the exception of the multiple trains close by, we love our stays here! Highly recommend!

Waupaca getaway

Lovely clean spacious little brick house in a residential neighborhood in Waupaca, just across the river north of downtown. Everything you need plus extra treats. We are repeat renters with no disappointments. Price is quite reasonable because it is not directly on water, but there are plenty of lakes and rivers with public access in the area.

Great stay!

We had a wonderful stay and the town of Waupaca is very enjoyable along with the lakes. The house was very clean with a great setup which suited our needs perfectly. There are several trains close by that run through the night but the host thought of everything including earplugs if needed!

Everything was as stated. House very clean, all kitchen needs in house including little food items that are easy to forget or you wouldn't want to purchase/bring. See; honey, olive oil. There is a freight train that goes by the house that is very loud a few times / day. But at this price point, fantastic value.

Bargain Getaway

This place is a great value, simply because it does not have its own waterfront access. Located in a residential area walking distance north of downtown Waupaca, this lovely little brick house is completely redone, spacious comfortable and clean. Host provides lots of information about nearby hiking, swimming, boating etc. along with extra snacks and drinks you don't normally expect. We are repeat renters never disappointed.

Clean, comfort, and cute

Our family was in Wisconsin visiting a friend in a near by town. The house was the nicest in the neighborhood. The fire pit and firewood is a nice touch. The house was super clean. The beds are super comfortable. The goodies and coffee bar were wonderful. I loved the maps on the wall with all the local lakes. I would definitely stay there again if I was back in the area.

Cozy house in town

Lovely brick house completely redone, new and clean and spacious. It is a real bargain, sitting in a residential neighborhood just north of downtown Waupaca. Not directly on a lake in the tourist area, where you pay at least double, but minutes away from the chain of lakes, trails, etc. Host supplies information about all the wonderful things to do in the immediate area. Nice backyard for hanging out after the days activities. Host always provides complimentary snacks and coffee. We are repeat renters after discovering this place. New with this stay we can report that the central A/C works very well.

Just what we wanted!

Judi, the property owner, was easy to communicate with & answered all questions quickly & clearly. The home is well updated & extremely comfortable. Quaint front porch, backyard firepit with wood, and separate back patio. Walkable distance to the Main St shopping area. The neighborhood is older & a bit rough, but fencing on the property shields most of that. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Lovely little house in Waupaca

The place has been completely redone and it is immaculately kept. Everything you need plus extra treats you don't usually get. Close to everything, with its own front porch and lovely back yard area. Not right on the water with an absolute bargain of a price.

Ice age hiking

Place was clean and had plenty of k cups, and some complimentary bottled water, beer, and bottle of wine in fridge. Also spices, cooking oil & spray available. Kitchen well stocked with pans, dishes etc. We hiked the IAT for 2 days, covering 19 miles. So we were happy to return to this comfortable VRBO. Judi was helpful and communicated with us regularly as the driveway was muddy from a water pipe that was just recently replaced. But plywood was layed that we could walk on to avoid the mud. Would definitely return in future.

I have been a landlord for a long time but am somewhat new to vacation rentals. So far it has been a wonderful experience and an opportunity to work with people from all other with lots of different reasons for coming to our area.

Why they chose this property

The Chain of Lakes in Waupaca is truly a vacation destination with so much to do all year round but especially in the Summer Months. However, not everyone can afford the expensive homes right on a lake but still want the enjoyment of boating, fishing, canoeing, kayaking and just enjoying the beautiful lakes here. This home offers so much more than a hotel stay. There is a full kitchen, backyard with grill and fire pit and convenience to all that Waupaca offers for a fraction of the price you pay elsewhere.
