COZY & Secluded Getaway - Newly Remodeled - Perfect Location!!

This wonderful and recently renovated space is located in a central spot to hiking, fishing, and exploring the Olympic Peninsula. It is located on at the end of a dead-end street, with a vacant lot on one side and neighbors blocked by trees to provide a lot of privacy. Large majestic evergreens, lush ferns scattered throughout, firepits and a portable hammock available. The home is 1100 sq. ft. - newly remodeled, stainless steel appliances, woodstove, master bedroom has an on-suite bathroom. There is also a 2nd bathroom with a full bath, open concept design and contemporary furnishings . Features a new deck, private and peaceful with a propane fire pit with blue glass rocks.

June Trip to Olympic National Park/Forest

The property met or exceeded our expectations. The kitchen was nicely equipped allowing us to cook a variety of meals. The main grocery store in Forks was on par with most urban/city stores so no need to shop ahead unless you have very specific needs. The restaurants in town were very hospitable albeit with limited fare but overall very positive small town dining experience. Entire unit was nicely updated. We enjoyed the “bonus” of a secluded outdoor sitting area for cocktails. The small house is perfect for an adventurous couple since it provides a mid-way point of access for day trips to a variety of places in Olympic.

A wonderful find!

This property is everything described and more. We chose to stay in Forks so we could spend more time in the national park and less time driving to get there. The house is located at the end of a road so is somewhat secluded. The inside of the house is lovely. We enjoyed spending time on the deck outside where the view included a lovely garden and a forested stream. We highly recommend this property if you are looking to stay near Olympic National Park near Hoh Rainforest and several beaches.

If Forks is your destination, this is your place!

This rental feels like a cabin in the woods. It's located at the end of the street, and feels private and secluded. The 2022 remodeling was very nicely done and it's beautiful. The layout is open and spacious. Outside are adorable little garden areas, complete with twinkling lights that come on at dark. Host is very nice and super helpful. We were very comfortable here!

Bliss in the rain forest

Lovely home with well appointed kitchen. Luxury having two bathrooms even when just me and my spouse. Laundry is a huge plus too. Nice sitting area in the trees and a very quiet location. Enjoyed the home and the whole area.

This was our second year staying at Michelle's property. My family absolutely loved this and our previous stay. Everything about the home is perfect; clean, well stocked, centrally located, peaceful and beautiful property, amazing property owner...I can't say enough. We'll be back again!

Off to a good start.

This was our first experience with Vrbo, and we were delighted. The cabin and grounds were beautiful. and Michelle is a generous hostess. Her kitchen is well-stocked and she quickly came to our rescue when we couldn't figure out the TV. We had a wonderful time exploring the Hoh Rain Forest, and I'd love to come back again some day.

Spacious, Clean and Quiet

We really enjoyed our stay at the Happy Place. It was in a great location for exploring the Olympic Peninsula, especially La Push and the Hoh Rainforest. The house itself is very spacious. The kitchen is very well appointed; there’s everything you need, and more, to prepare all of your meals. The accommodations are very comfortable and the shower is blissful, especially after a day of hiking. The house is surrounded by trees, and it feels very private. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful inside

This was a great location for visiting the nearby beaches and Hoh Rainforest. Recently updated inside with everything you might need. Nice area with chairs and a fire pit where we enjoyed our evenings. Owner was onsite, but very respectful of our privacy.

I have been in the vacation rental business for 20 + years in Alaska, Arizona, and Washington. I am an Air Force Veteran and I grew up on Lihue, Kauai, Hawaii

Why they chose this property

I moved to Forks, Washington in 2018 and much of Washington reminds me of Alaska. This property is very peaceful and healing - most who have stayed as a guest find the property relaxing and a great escape from the busy city. My personal goal is to make each stay a memorable experience for guests.

What makes this property unique

I try my best to be as flexible as possible with all my visitors, whether it is an early arrival or late departure, day trip supplies such as chair and coolers, etc. I am at the end of a private drive with no neighbors to one side and heavily wooded trees around the property.
