About this property

Grand Targhee and Teton WYDAHO Adventure

Our property features the main house, 2 sleeping cabins, & hot tub. It is situated on 3 acres with 360 degree mountain vistas, including the Grand Tetons front and center. It is custom and country mix to include 19th century metal ceiling inlays, fine wood trim and built-ins. The sleeping cabins are a log cottage with woodburning stove heat and a bunk house. Both have supplemental electric heat. We are 4 miles from the charm and restaurants in Driggs, 12 miles from world class Grand Targhee powder and the Grand Tetons, and surrounded by wildlife, hiking, fishing, biking and golf. And if you must and you should, Jackson Hole/Teton Village rodeo, shopping, and skiing as well as Yellowstone wildlife are 45 & 90 minutes away respectively....or hopefully just look out your window for the occasional moose, elk, or snowshoe hare interloper:)

The main house features a 2-car oversized garage, master queen bedroom up, a room with queen bed and laundry area down, and two full bathrooms, one a shower only downstairs that also serves the sleeping cabins and the other a tub/shower combo upstairs.


The main living area is upstairs to include eating nook, designer kitchen, cozy reading areas, two Grand Teton viewing decks, master bedroom, and full (tub/shower combo) bathroom.

And to satisfy the independent adventurers, our property has two detached cozy sleeping cottages, one a log cabin with queen loft above and futon and TV below, and the other a queen bed bunk room. Retreat there to fall asleep and then rise to coffee and the quiet serenity of a Grand Teton sunrise from your front stoop. Both cabins are only steps away (50 steps and 75 steps respectively) from the main house downstairs bath. Here, life is an adventure EVERDAY!

Great time in Driggs!

We absolutely enjoyed this home and our time in Driggs. The house and the sleeping cabins were just as advertised, and we couldn't pick a better location for all we wanted to do. The home was warm and comfortable, and the spacious garage made our skiing adventures easy to pull off. While the clouds hid the Tetons most of the time, they did peek through on occasion and were spectacular. The hot tub was a great way to end our ski days, and the kitchen was perfect for family time. Looking forward to returning for another visit!

Perfect Family Vacation

We loved this house! Was perfect for our group of 9. The owners put so much love into their home and it showed. Views were amazing house was eclectic and beautiful and the outside cabins were perfect. Could have done without all the rain!

Beautiful House and View

Enjoyed our summer getaway. Kids loved having their own spaces to stay in - 2 cabins in addition to main house. Beautiful views of the Grand Tetons and stars. Good for day trips to the parks (Yellowstone and Grand Teton) and night in the hot tub watching the sunset and stars. Kitchen well stocked - all you need for an enjoyable stay.

Wydaho was great!

Highly recommended! Our stay here was perfect! A great location for visiting the Tetons, just 45 min drive to Jackson. Views were amazing! Pen was easily reachable when we had questions. Should we find ourselves back out that way, we will rent here again. And recommend to friends that plan trips out that way.

Amazing

This property was one of the best VRBOs we have ever rented. The décor was beautiful, the views outstanding…it was quiet, comfortable, and well appointed. My kids (13 & 10) loved the extra little cabins which provided both adults and children with some privacy. The hot tub was so nice after a long day. It was helpful that the kitchen had plenty of basic needs and we used the green egg a few times. Communication with the owner was easy, quick and he was very accommodating. We also enjoyed being right next to Targhee, under an hour to Jackson Hole and alittle over an hour to Grand Teton. Driggs itself was a cute town worth a visit. We would stay in this VRBO again in a heartbeat! Thank you for your hospitality!

coolest barn ever!

This place is really well done..very cool decor, amazing attention to detail, and super comfy place to stay. Easy shot to Driggs and to Grand Targhee. Very nice kitchen, comfy couches, just a really great experience! And massive garage to pull your truck into to load and stay out of the snow. For ski racers out there, it provided a nice place to tune skis. Highly recommend it and would stay there again in 2 seconds. Thanks!!!!

Targhee trip

Your fun, artsy, eclectic home had everything we needed for a great ski vacation to Targhee! Easy access to the ski hill and the cute town of Driggs. The hot tub and the mountain views were amazing after a day of skiing. The beds were comfortable with cozy linens and the kitchen was fully stocked. The notebook of instructions was very thorough and communication with the owners made the whole process easy. I wish we had a bigger group to utilize the cute little cabins, maybe next time! Thanks for sharing your home!

Relaxation in the shadows of the Tetons

There is no corner or nook left untouched. Creativity and uniqueness abound in every aspect of this warm and inviting retreat. The unparalleled views serve as a majestic background to the cozy and well-appointed home. They cabin and bunk house gave independence and personal space to our adult children, while our grade schooler shared the ample space within the main house. Pen and Susan are responsive, gracious and helpful. Check-in and check-out were simple. We hope to return in a different season and are confident we will enjoy the home in the warmth as well as we did with the blankets of sparkly snow - it is truly majestic in the winter!

The. Best. VRBO. Stay. Ever.

Our family has stayed at many VRBO’s through recent years; this, by far, has been our best experience. Checkin was a breeze, the binder of information well organized and detailed, cleanliness was exceptional and the amazing house was a wonderful place to come “home” to after our days of adventure. We had a minor hiccup and Penn was easy to contact and so very attentive in correcting the problem and apologetic. My only wish is that every VRBO experience could be as perfect as this one!

Everything was great. The kids enjoyed staying in the separate buildings. The house had everything we needed and the owner was available and responsive. We never tried the big green egg or the fire pit, but both were well maintained and ready to go for us. The huge garage made it really nice for us to unpack and pack and keep everything organized. We were pretty anchored to Grand Teton National Park, but there are definitely great things to do on the Wydaho side of the Tetons like Mesa Falls and Teton Canyon.

Peaceful stay with world class views

We stayed in Driggs on our way from Bozeman to Jackson Hole. The home and property was outstanding. The views of the Tetons and the sunsets were unreal! Our hosts were very attentive and the check in process was very easy. We look forward to coming back in the years to come!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property - we had two families of 4 and had plenty of space. The additional cabins are SO fun and the boys loved the cabin with the loft! We would absolutely stay again. The location was great!

Wonderful space; great views!

We were in town looking at property and wanted a home with a view of the Tetons. The views from this home are outstanding! Checkin was easy. The home is well maintained; the furnishings, beds are quality and comfortable. The inside space is full or an artist's touch. The listing photos are accurate but do not do justice to the interesting and beautiful walls, ceilings, paintings and other decor. We did have a snafu with the reservation dates (our fault) that the owner handled courteously and professionally. We enjoyed staying outside of town on the very private lot, but we were still close enough to Driggs to quickly access groceries and restaurants. Great stay!
