House was a great location to the lake where we spent the most of our time. I wish we would have had more time to hang out at the house as the river was amazing and the space was perfect for my family of 5.
We loved staying at this cabin! It had plenty of room for our family and included everything we needed to make it our home away from home. The view of the river from the back deck is the best part; it provided the peace & tranquility we were looking for. We would definitely stay here again!
With permission from the owner, we stayed at the property for our micro-wedding and reception. We could not have been more pleased with the accommodations, gorgeous scenery along the river, and diligent property managers. Upon check-in the day before the ceremony, we called management to ask to have the grass cut and they arrived within hours to make the grounds beautiful for our outdoor event. The deck was our favorite place to socialize and enjoy meals throughout our stay, and the river was even clean enough to swim! We hope to book again for a family vacation in the future.
Home was a wonderful location for our annual fishing trip to the Au Sable. We visit the river annually, sometimes camping and sometimes renting. This year we opted for a home stay with out 87 year old dad and this was a perfect location with amenities for us. The home was well stocked in the kitchen and toiletry items in the bathrooms was a nice touch. Plenty of yard for fun yard games. But bring your own wood. The wood on the grounds was soaked from the lawn sprinklers.
We reached out a couple times before the trip with questions but never heard from anyone, that was unusual. Still, I would recommend this location and we will hopefully reach out for next year.
Property is very nice, clean and location is excellent. Needs a drip coffee maker. French press and Kuerig are nice but need a drip coffee maker for volume. Had to turn off the lawn sprinkler pump the first morning as it was squealing loudly. Perhaps clogged at intake.
We came to Grayling because our son was getting married at the Mason Chapel. We booked the house because of the beautiful setting. After we checked in and saw the walkout, we invited the bride, her mom and sister to come over to get ready and take pictures. It was wonderful. Plenty of privacy and space with two full baths.
The house is well taken care of and it was clean.
My only disappointment was the rain-lol and the sitting arrangement upstairs. Two upholstered chairs by the fire looked nice but was not much sitting space for 5 adults. This is still a five star property but be aware if you have someone traveling with you who is challenged with stairs, the large sitting area downstairs isn’t really accessible to them. We would definitely book again. Well worth the money.
