Silverthorne Roost is Perfect and Perfectly Located
This property is located near hiking trails and close enough to Silverthorne to be at a pub or restaurant in 5 minutes. It is also in striking distance of all the major ski resorts and bike paths. It is very clean, very well-appointed and the bedrooms are very comfortable.

Nice place but
… we had a poor experience with the wood burning stove. May be a better choice for the summer.

Summer family gathering in Silverthorn
Nice layout for 3 couples, close to hiking trails and civilization if you need anything from the store. End unit with good view towards Dillon reservoir.

Clean and comfortable
Condo was good for five people and, possibly, larger groups. Three bedrooms and bathrooms was perfect. Kitchen had everything we needed. TV and WiFi worked.

Bathroom sink plugged for 10 days. No help from VRBO.
The place was as described, except not very clean. We had to wash dishes that were in the cupboard. The light over dining room table was thick with dust and a spider web. But the worst part was the sink in the bathroom shared by 2 of the 3 bedrooms. It was completely plugged when we arrived. I notified VRBO right away, and they did nothing to help. The management company finally sent someone to fix it on day 10 of our 2-week rental. It has been 11 days since our stay ended, and I have heard nothing from VRBO, nor have I received compensation for the unusable sink.

Thanksgiving in Silverthorne
Our family enjoyed our stay in Silverthorne for Thanksgiving. The home was cozy, the kitchen was fully appointed, and the firewood was well stocked. It even had a dog bed and toys for our doggo. This unit overlooks open space which is great for a dog walk or short hike.

Silverthorne Roost More Than a Roost
This property has it all: views, quiet, trails, wildlife, proximity to town (and the new Bluebird Market complex). With three bedrooms and three baths, this is the perfect spot for any size group.

Silverthorne summer
We thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay. It was the perfect size for our group! The view was amazing. It was so great to have such a wonderful area to have our dog right out the back door! Miles of trails!! We will definitely be back.

Nearly perfect place to stay
You can’t beat the view! The condo is at the end of the complex and you have unobstructed views of Dillon lake and the mountains on the deck. Condo had everything we needed and was very clean. Trails are right outside the back deck. My only complaint was parking spots at times but could always find one. If you stay here in Summer I would suggest bringing a fan as rooms upstairs never cool off at night. I would stay here again.

Family vacation
We absolutely loved the townhouse and it had everything we could/would possibly need for quiet snowy nights with family. We really enjoyed playing with the dice every night. So many memories made!

Cool place
This is on the very end of the complex so the deck off the back has great views and super easy access to the open space where there are good trails to walk your dog, hike, people were skiing thru the open space. Saw 2 adolescent moose siblings that one resident we talked to said this is their 3rd winter in the neighborhood, so that was a super unique experience. (He also said there is an adult male that has been spotted in the parking lot of the complex adjacent to this one.) The interior was really comfortable living space. We didn't utilize it much, but the kitchen was well equipped with pots pans, kitchenware, small appliances, etc. Beds were comfortable, shower pressure good, household supplies easy to get to and find. Issues that we had during our 4 night stay that were annoying but didn't affect our overall enjoyment: 1. no instruction given on how to lock the front door when we left. Got a code to open it from outside, and we could deadbolt it when we were inside, but when we left for dinner or something it was just un-locked. 2. one night the TVs would not connect to the WIFI so we could not access our streaming services, but we could still watch their DishNetwork channels. Router seemed to be working ok for laptops and phones to access the network but the TVs would not connect. 3. the couches in the main living area look great, but were not comfortable, 4. Parking - we only had one car and it was hard to find a spot a couple of times, but i imagine if a guest had 2 cars or even the 3 max allowed, then the other 2 would have trouble finding somewhere to park, but maybe we were just there on a super busy week. 5. Kindling for the fireplace. There was a kindling bucket outside the front door, but only a couple slivers of kindling in there. We just would collect some dead wood from under trees while walking the dog, but that was it, cause there was a great supply of actual firewood at the house, so we didn't have to go buy firewood which can be expensive. Out of our 4 spring break family trips, we all agreed this was our favorite place so far. Thanks.
