About this property

Bring the family along and enjoy this spacious house with view’s of the Steinhatchee River and the Gulf of Mexico. Just steps away from the newly constructed marina with plenty of boat slips and everything an angler/Scalloper needs. This house couldn’t be in a more perfect location! Enjoy the sunsets out by the gas fire pit, cook outdoors under the spacious covered entertainment area or take a short golf cart ride to one of our local eateries. Kids are sure to love the outdoor activities like Ping Pong, Foosball, Croquet, and even an Arcade Table with hundreds of games. The Front Deck is the perfect place to have a Cocktail and watch the boats go by. You will love our Sunsets here.

Steinhatchee is a golf cart friendly town with a local rental company featuring 4 and 6 seater carts. Plenty of covered parking so you could even bring your own ! Yard is completely fenced with a sliding gate if needed.

Ground floor has a Queen bed and bath only accessed from ground
- completely separate from the rest of the house.

Main living area of house has King bed in Master, laundry/ (Seahorse Room) with over under Twin beds. A Queen Futon is next to Dining Room if needed.

2nd floor has a Queen guest bedroom and above that the 3rd floor has another Queen bedroom. Beautiful views up there.

All of this overlooks the Steinhatchee River and Gulf of Mexico where you can dive for Scallops, Fish, Ski, Scuba Dive, Sail or just relax on a boat and enjoy .

Annual fishing trip

A group of friends and family that consist of all guys annual trip. 15th year. First time booking this spot and it was great for our nightly dinners.

Fantastic place

We had a fantastic time in John's place. The location is super convenient, and the house was very well stocked and accommodated a group of 11 easily. Friends and family stayed nearby and we hosted dinner for a group of about 18 several nights in a row. There are a multitude of things to do for the kids and adults alike. Donna and John were extremely accommodating and friendly. Bonus - we limited on scallops every day :) Highly recommend.

Wonderful stay for family

My family and I had a fantastic time staying here! The house was perfect for our needs, offering great amenities and a spacious layout that comfortably accommodated everyone. The location was also convenient to the marina. The only small hiccup we encountered was the downstairs shower not draining properly, which was a bit inconvenient. However, this didn’t overshadow the overall positive experience we had at the property. The management was responsive and understanding, which made our stay even more pleasant. Thank you for providing us with a memorable vacation!

We had an amazing stay at this VRBO in Steinhatchee, FL for our fishing trip! The house was spacious enough to comfortably accommodate our group of 6, and we loved the open floor plan and modern furnishings. The bedrooms were cozy and the beds were comfortable, ensuring we got a good night's rest after a long day of fishing. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook our catch of the day, and we enjoyed dining together at the large dining table. The screened-in porch was a great spot to relax and enjoy the beautiful Florida weather, and we even spotted some wildlife while sitting outside. The location of the house was perfect for our fishing trip, as it was close to the marina and several great fishing spots. The owner was also very helpful in providing us with recommendations for local restaurants and activities. Overall, we had a fantastic experience at this VRBO and would highly recommend it to anyone planning a fishing trip in Steinhatchee, FL!

This was a great place to stay for our family group!

We all had a great time and enjoyed the fishing. This property has all the amenities to have a great time. I personally loved the elevator which makes hauling our belongings upstairs a breeze. Also the St Patrick decorations and treats added to the fun. Hope to return soon! Thanks again John

Great vacation

Took a family vacation to Steinhatchee to go scalloping for the first time ever, wanted to see what all the hype was about. And I have to say it was a fantastic weekend. The house was amazing the location was perfect we hired a captain to take us out we got so many scallops it was amazing. !! Highly recommend it for a vacation here🤩

Great family home

We really enjoyed this home. Lots of games and things to do. We had 4 adult couples and 2 kids. The room down stairs has beads for a door on the bathroom . The other two main rooms are upstairs. The master is on the main floor. Everyone was happy with their rooms. The owner was very attentive to all my questions. The marina nearby steinhatchee marina at deadman’s bay was awesome.

Great Time!

Great location, pretty much across the street from the new marina. Close to all the restaurants and not a far troll to the gulf. We enjoyed the stay with the fenced in yard and plenty for the kids to do. John was quick to respond with any questions that were brought forth.

We enjoyed our stay here

This house was perfect for our family. It was specious and allowed for us to relax after a long day of scalloping. It was close to everything we needed and had a great view of the gulf and sunset. Only thing I would mention is that they don’t have Wi-Fi set up yet. Otherwise we will definitely be booking with John again for next scalloping season!

Great place!

This property was great! Our kids loved all the games to keep them occupied when we were not on the water. The location is nice and has lots of outdoor space for lounging and reconnecting with family and friends. The house has lots of space to spread out and a nice, well stocked, kitchen if you'd like to cook in. John was very responsive to any questions we had regarding the rental. We would definitely rent here again.

This place was just as beautiful as listed. The place was clean and stocked with everything we needed. The location just minutes from the boat ramp was super convenient. But what made our trip the best was our host, John. From early check in to assistance with a slight delay at check out, he made sure we had everything we needed. He was very accommodating and friendly. Thank you, John! We truly appreciate everything!
