Welcome to Our Historic Family Home on Bailey Island
We are honored to share our beautifully restored and lovingly remodeled family home on the breathtaking coast of Bailey Island, Maine. Owned and operated by the Captain Lawrence E. Johnson Family, this home represents generations of deep roots, seafaring tradition, and warm hospitality.
Our family has carefully preserved this historic property, which has been home to three generations of Johnsons, including Captain Larry and Eileen Johnson, and their son, Captain Jeff Johnson. Larry and Jeff were proud sea captains who made their living on the water, while Eileen was a talented cook and restaurant owner, known for her hospitality and heartwarming meals.
This home is managed by Brett Johnson, with the help of Sister Cathy Silva, Brother Chris Johnson, and all of our spouses and children who pitch in to make your stay unforgettable. Every corner of the house reflects our dedication to honoring its legacy while offering modern comforts to create a welcoming space for your family to enjoy.
Our family’s connection to Bailey Island is deep, and the next generations are proud to continue this legacy of sharing our home with others. Whether you’re here to explore the stunning coastline, relax in the peaceful atmosphere, or create lasting memories with loved ones, we are thrilled to welcome you.
We hope you feel the love and history that make this home so special, and we look forward to hosting you!
Warm regards,
The Captain Lawrence E. Johnson Family
