We stayed at this property for 8 days over Christmas. The place is clean and very conveniently located to nearby ski resorts, shopping and restaurants. Not sure if the owner lives upstairs but if so they are very quiet. This is a basement apartment not an entire house as listed (not sure if this can be updated). Although, it sleeps four people it's only setup for two. The couch only seats two and then there is a small bistro table that seats two so not comfortable by any means for all of us, we couldn't eat together or play cards etc. This obviously isn't due to lack of room in the space just poor thought. A second small couch and a bigger table can easily fit. There is no oven just a cooktop which was an over site on our part (lesson learned). This proved to be difficult due to lack of pots/pans and no vent system. We set the smoke alarm off just trying to cook breakfast. Eating out everyday wasn't budget friendly but again lesson learned.Another thing that was missing but wasn't a huge deal is we like "instructions" to the house. We had no we idea we couldn't control the temp in the space or that the fireplace didn't work. How does the owner want us to leave linens, how do they want the trash disposed of etc. We travel a lot so we find these helpful. All in all, I would stay here again BUT not for longer than a quick weekend trip and only 2 of us.
We chose this property due to its proximity to the Sandy Amphitheater. Check-in was more difficult than expected because I never realized this home is “under” or to the right of the main residence. In hindsight I found one mention of it in an email, but we didn’t understand that the entrance is located only through the gate on the right side of the house. Once inside, we were pleased with the accommodations. One bed was missing a top sheet, but oddly enough, that’s my son’s choice in bedding. Also never found any hand towels, but main towels sufficed and smelled wonderful! Overall, worth the cost!
We rolled in late after a long drive and couldn’t have been happier with this place! Great neighborhood/location, very clean and the place is stocked with everything you’d need. Highly recommend this place while visiting SLC!
Even though you are in the basement you do not really notice it. Convenient to Little Cottonwood Canyon but not to far from Big Cottonwood. Very clean would recommend A+
Awesome place, very clean and well thought out. Would definitely recommend.
