Spacious Home

The house had plenty of space for our group of 6. Unfortunately the dock was damaged in a recent storm and was unusable. It would have been nice to have had a path cleared to the water since we couldn’t use the dock walkway, but we made do - just didn’t access the water as much as we wanted to. The parking was difficult for a trailer with our sxs on it, let alone the two trucks/trailers we had. Be aware that there is only space for one truck/trailer. We had to unload and unhook the trailer and move it by hand out of the way to both park. Inside the house was wonderful. There’s one bedroom with several beds upstairs. The bedroom however has French doors with no curtains, so there’s no privacy in it. Listing described house as having 2 bathrooms, but it is actually 1.5 baths. The upstairs only has a toilet and sink. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful property, good location.

The house was welcoming and decorated very nice. The house, decks and dock were just as shown in the photos. We had beautiful views of the sunset each night! The owner was very easy to communicate with and always responded quickly to my messages. While on the south side of the lake, the location coming from Kansas City was great --- an easy 3.5 hour drive. It was our first time to Grand Lake. We will be back and we'd definitely rent this property again!

Why they chose this property

This property is beautiful! It has so much character. This gorgeous property underwent a complete remodel with elegant and modern finishes. It took 6 months and it was completed in Feb. 2022. It boasts a magnificent view that stretches far and wide. There is an upper deck and a lower deck that together offers over 500 sqft. of great space to spend with friends and family. There is also a private dock that allows for access to the water. There is a boat on the property. It is not for rent. If you bring a boat, you’re more than welcome to tie it to the side of the dock. The property has two levels. An upstairs loft with 4 beds, it’s own living room and a beautiful view of the lake. Downstairs, there is another living room, a master bedroom, a sinning room table and the kitchen. All overlooking the water. There are many more thing to list and I’m running out of characters. but come check it for yourself!
