The unit is nice

The place itself is very nice. Exactly as pictured. Clean. The convection stove worked well. Just remember to put a pan down first before turning on. The neighborhood is a little sketchy, but we had no problems. The only issue is with the television. There is no cable TV. We do only a little streaming at home. We could not access the Discovery channel that is our favorite. I made at least 5 attempts to communicate with Vacasa about this issue and each and every time I communicated with someone different. We basically went 5 days with no TV. I missed a couple of live sports events that I had been looking forward to. Again, the place itself is quite nice, so if you are OK with streaming only, this place is great.

family get away

Great for the family. Nearby golf, spa and kids stuff. nice round of golf nearby bonita fairways, wife pampered herself with trip to shang ri la spa. kids loved the beaches, and we had plenty of choices for going out to eat at close by restaurants. House is super clean and great layout to relax in and out, with a fenced yard to play in, patio and grill to relax and have a few burger and dogs!!

Highly recommend it!

I was very happy with my stay. The communication was easy. It's a beautiful house with a lot of natural light, comfortable furniture and all the rooms are very large. The backyard is fenced-in and really nice too. It's only 5 minutes from the beach and close to all major stores. I am staying there again next time I am in the area! I highly recommend it!

Comfortable, safe and functional

My wife and I visited Bonita Springs for a last minute getaway. We were pleased to find this house. It is perfectly situated at the end of a dead end road allowing for a private and secure stay. Its location seemed to be centered among all the activity in the area. Super close to the MANY local restaurants, walking distance to a well kept public pool, and just 10 minutes to beautiful Bonita beach. We loved the house and actually spent most of our time there. The great room was the perfect hangout spot for game nights, dinner and lounge. The spacious deck and backyard were perfect for daytime sun bathing and grilling. Everything was super clean and comfortable. We highly recommend this house.

This property was roomy, clean, and had comfortable beds. They need to fix the broken window coverings & add something to cover the glass door entry at night, and improve the wi-fi sign-in process.

Fun in the Florida sun

Spent a few weeks at this property in December, and it was all good. It is a large home with separate areas for entertaining and for sleeping. It was thoughtfully appointed with everything we needed in the kitchen. We enjoyed using the induction cooktop to whip up meals quickly. The rooms are large, very clean, and had comfy beds. There is a large fenced-in yard out back. The house was stocked with plenty of beach chairs and toys to use when heading to the nearby beach. There is a nice golf course less than five minutes away. We visited downtown Bonita, which is very cute and had every type of store and restaurant you could hope for. We would definitely come back if it is available in the future!

Enjoyed our stay!

When we arrived, we found the house to be very clean. We were happy with how much room there was. The fenced-in yard was perfect for our dogs. The beds were very comfortable, and it was very nice having 2 1/2 baths. We stayed at the house for a little over a month. After a few days, we found that there was no vacuum. After we inquired about it, a new vacuum arrive for us to use. Also, after a few days into our stay, the air conditioner for our main living area stopped working. I reported it, and within a few days, they had a company out to replace the broken unit. We were very please with how our issues were addressed in a timely manner. Also, the rental company surprised us with a box of candy and dog treats for our dogs---how nice!!! There is traffic on the main street that leads to the house, but with the house being at the end of a dead end road, there is not much traffic and it is quiet. We felt safe and comfortable during our stay, and we would recommend it for anyone that has a family that needs space to move around. Suggestions: Information left in the house for the renters on---how to get on the internet, how to use the induction stovetop for those of us that are not familiar with one (oven was very clean), how to use the TV, and how to use the lock box on the front door. We figured it all out thanks to the internet!

We cannot recommend

This was the worst property we’ve stayed at and we’ve stayed at quite a few. The house was in disrepair, dirty, and there wasn’t any information or instructions left other than a few digital ones online. We were scheduled to be their for 8 days and supplies were only left for three days (trash bags, dish soap, dishwasher soap, etc.). They forgot to mention the the the microwave has broken buttons, three large window shades don’t work, the washer doesn’t spin the water out of clothes, many bulbs were burned out, there was an ant infestation, and there were quite a few cracked and broken tiles on the stairs. Bonita Springs was hit by a hurricane last fall and here it is March and apparently there are still significant issues with internet connectivity and speed. None of this was shared with us when booking despite the fact I mentioned we would be working from the property and needed good internet. Also, the stove didn’t work. Well, it turns out it did work but was a highly unusual type that would only turn on if the pan you are using was bigger than the burner size and completely covered it. Half the pans in the house were smaller than the smallest burner. We had to eat out for two days before they got back to us. I booked this place through VRBO but it was actually a Vacasa property. My husband literally spent hours on the phone with Vacasa and they kept telling us they’d get back to us with a solution and a settlement. The Ft Myers district manager actually hung up on us. They did send a maintenance guy who tried to fix the blinds and had instructions on how to use the stove. He was friendly and helpful. Corporate conveniently has not gotten back to us on a settlement. And before we even arrived we had trouble with them — I had contacted Vacasa 15 days before arrival and let them know I wanted to cancel the last day as we were leaving earlier than originally expected. They didn’t respond for a week and then responded they were really busy and now it was less than 14 days so they couldn’t refund it. This whole encounter was awful and upsetting. I would discourage you from staying at this house and never stay at any property managed by Vacasa. We left two days early. We spent more than $3k for a week. Not a dime has been returned to us yet for the last scheduled day that I DID cancel within the required timeframe or for any of the inconvenience and stress it caused us.

Nice property with open layout!

Very clean and plenty of room - loved the open layout. We definitely enjoyed the home during our stay in Bonita Springs and would recommend the property. In a quiet neighborhood. One drawback would be the drive time it takes to get to the beach (main reason we gave 4 out of 5). Just a note - house had beach towels but did not have any other beach accessories so you would need to rent on the beach or purchase. Other than this, well worth renting! Vacasa has been easy to work with and kept us up to date. Thanks for a great experience!
