We loved, loved, loved our stay at this beautiful property. Perfect for a small family -- the bedrooms were so comfortable and the kids really enjoyed the big open downstairs for games and movies. Great location -- be sure to catch all Hayward has to offer!
Cabin was nicely maintained. Had everything we needed. Great location for our trip. Not sure the bed in the smaller bedroom was actually a queen but otherwise enjoyed our stay very much.
This cabon was absolutely perfect for a short family get away! The cabin was cleaned and well cared for. The dock and provided kayak and canoe were perfect for outdoor acitivty. The host was super accommodating and very easy to communicate with.
This is a great spot to get away from everything and just be by yourself. I absolutely loved the screened in porch, read out there for several hours one afternoon.
We used this property as an overflow location from a cabin we were visiting nearby. It was a pleasure to come back to every evening after a long day on and in the water. It was very clean and comfortable.
Wonderful place and was clean and well supplied. Owner was very helpful and responded immediately. Would not hesitate to rent again. Only minor negative was that it ifficult to access the water for kayaking because of water level.
This is exactly as presented but better!! Jennifer is super responsive to any questions you might have. The cabin is beautiful and comfortable. It’s beautifully decorated. The cabin is very well stocked with anything you might need. It was a beautiful and serene vacation!
The cabin is beautiful inside. Just as described in the pictures. The location is perfect. Secluded and quiet. It was great being close to Hayward and surrounding towns. We found plenty of things to do like tubing down the river, train ride, 4 wheeling, hiking trails. In the evenings we would enjoy our time on the deck listening to nature.
We loved this cabin! Very nice, very cozy, we love having fires outside and a wood fireplace inside, our cabin is under construction and we wanted a very private, low key thanksgiving this year with just our kids. we vrbo a lot and i love how every thing was easy and explained before and upon arrival, we didn't have one question! Very clean! Thanks again!
Nice cabin with great views of woods and lake. Well appointed large kitchen with new appliances. Loved the screened porch. Rained most days during our stay so we did not get to use the fire pit. We appreciated the great communication with owner.
The cabin was clean, comfortable, and a great stay away from home. We were able to have a campfire with s'mores every evening, which was a hit with the kids. Beds were comfortable and the check in and out was easy. The host was responsive to my couple questions and the accommodations couldn't have been better. The lake itself was not the best fit for our family as the water was low with a muck bottom. We weren't able to swim or do other water things; but that is completely out of the host's hands, and we found other things to do, including taking the kids to the local wilderness walk. It was a nice to get away in the woods with a beautiful view.
Loved this property! It was so cozy and comfy! Owners thought of everything. Enough towels for everyone and the kitchen was well stocked. Jennifer communicated so well with us during our stay if we had any questions. But we didn’t have many! Would recommend highly for a small to medium family. The large variety of games was a very nice touch! The property sits on a very private location and the views of the lake during the day and millions of stars at night were breathtaking! So close to the cute town of Hayward with lots of great shops and restaurants. It is a wonderful northwoods retreat! If you are looking for peace and quiet to disconnect - this is the place for you! Thank you to our hosts for an amazing stay!
The cabin was very clean and quiet. It had everthing we needed. The dock needs to be 15 feet longer. There are no catchable fish in the lake. Its only 6 feet deep. It was easy access to Hayward and all the surounding hiking trails. It was an enjoyable vacation.
The property was great for two couples for a weekend in Hayward. Everything we needed was within a 20 minute or less drive for golf and restaurants. The place is outside Hayward on Devil Lake. A very quiet beautiful setting. The only wish was that the water level was slightly higher so we could have gone canoeing, but not a big deal unless you're only intending to do water sports. The fire pit area was great as was the house itself.
The cabin was beautiful. It was accurately described. The road to get to it is narrow and gravel. We were disappointed at how mucky it was in the water. Because of the much we didn’t venture out in the canoe. The air conditioning worked great and it was needed as several days had temps in the 90’s.
