Beautiful 2bd/2ba house in Downtown Marion minutes to Blueridge Pkwy/Lake James
Our beautiful home is conveniently located to all that Western North Carolina has to offer for every type of vacation. Located off Marion's charming main street we are a 1 min walk to restaurants, coffee shops, and breweries. We are a 15-20 min drive to the incredible Lake James and are minutes from the historic Blue Ridge Parkway. We are also 35 miles from the fan-favorite town of Asheville with its shopping, restaurants, breweries, and outdoor activities. There are endless hikes to conquer, sites to explore, and relaxation to be had and we would love to be your home away from home.

We are Jonathan and Janae Roper and it is nice to meet you! Janae is an ICU nurse and Jonathan is a pastor! We live in San Diego with our three kids! We both grew up traveling to visit family all over the US and want to give our kids the same experience!
Why they chose this property
My dad is from Marion and I have visited family in Marion for as long as I can remember. There is a lot of nostalgia associated with this beautiful area and it is something that I want to leave with my kids as well. This house is exactly what we were looking for as it is close to everything we love in the area. We have intentionally set it up to be a place that we are excited to travel to and make home. I think you will enjoy it as well:)
What makes this property unique
The unique benefit of this house is undoubtedly the location to everything you could want to do in the area. It is just close to everything and makes a good "home base" to venture out and explore this part of North Carolina.
We also loved the different experiences the house provides. There is a beautiful sunroom full of natural light, a screened-in porch that looks out onto the beautiful garden in the back, and a great built-in fire pit toward the back of the property (coming soon).
