The space
The home backs up to Glenn’s Creek, which also flows past Woodford Reserve Distillery and Castle and Key Distillery. The back yard and patio is the perfect place to soak in the authentic vibes of Kentucky.

Amazing home

We were impressed as soon as we pulled into the yard and then when we walked into the home we were amazed with the care and attention the owners took to make this property one of the very best we have ever rented. We loved the water front creek, fire pit and hot tub and there were even blankets provided for the cold nights when we sat around the fire pit sipping our Kentucky Bourbon. So many thoughtful 'extras' where provided to make our stay perfect. Beds were super comfortable and top notch linens. Well stocked kitchen to boot. Very, very clean home and comfortable furniture. We loved the place so much we extended our stay. Hated to leave but will definately return. Highly reccomend this home. Be sure to visit Glenn Creek Distillary too on your stay as well as Castle and Key, both cloae by.

Perfect spot near many distilleries

This house exceeded all expectations. It was clean, cozy, and well stocked. We especially enjoyed the hot tub. If you're looking for a relaxing place for a quiet getaway or need a spot to stay on the bourbon trail, this is the one.

Awesome!

My wife and I loved this place! It's a short distance to multiple distilleries and is a very peaceful place to visit. We did particularly enjoy the hot tub with the Bluetooth speakers. I would highly recommend a stay here. We plan to visit again down the road.

Excellent Choice

We loved staying! Charming house and host family. The yard is perfect for family games. Fire pit and hot tub were great in the evening. So close to The Stave, Woodford and Castle & Key. Not far from Buffalo Trace. Highly recommend!

30 Year Reunion Getaway

A bourbon trail weekend with old friends was highlighted with the perfect spot to hit several distillery tours. Sitting at the campfire next to the river sipping on the weekend’s purchases! House cleanliness, decor, and location made for an amazing weekend. Hosts are attentively and friendly! It won’t be 30 years before we are back for another weekend!

Quaint, quiet, beautiful

My wife and I wanted a relaxing getaway to check out the bourbon trail and just chill at a rental home. This place was perfect!! Very clean. Extra amenities and snacks were provided. The owner was clear about check-in, check-out. They have a great guide to some of their favorite places to see and eat. The hot tub is phenomenal!! We will definitely be back! D & J - Ohio

Property was excellent. All the amenities were top-notch including the hot tub and extras on site. Nothing was forgotten. There were even extra toiletry items in the bathroom and snacks! The property was very close to Castle and Key and Stave. The owner is very attentive and communicative.

Great spot for bourbon tours

The house was in an excellent location for taking tours of distilleries. My two brothers and I had plenty of room in the house, and the living room was very conducive for lounging.

Perfect for Bourbon Trail Stay

You can tell Adam and Melanie care about hosting. Although I’ve never met them in person, they went out of their way to make sure we had a great stay. From the welcome snacks to presents for our kids, they were great. The house was even better than described and it is so close to Castle and Key and Woodford, with Buffalo Trace a 15-minute drive away. I highly recommend this property and I hope I’m lucky enough to stay here again!

Great Stay

No need to over pack. Adam and his wife have the house stocked with necessities. The home is clean and beautiful and they seriously thought of everything you may or may not need. Great location for distilleries, the hot tub is a great touch, and we even walked around in the creek. Great stay and plan to return.

The location was so convenient for our Kentucky Bourbon Trail tour this summer. Adam is very responsive to messages and a perfect host. Just do it!

All of the reviews are true. This place is the benchmark for short term rentals. In every way this property knocks it out of the park. You deserve this, treat yourself and book this before your dates aren’t available.

Convenient location to distilleries. Castle and Key was literally a two minute drive, three minutes to Glenns Creek, and five minutes to Woodford Reserve. The property's online description is accurate to what one would see when they visit. The house can easily accommodate six guests while providing entertainment, puzzles, board games, backyard creek, and hot tub. Adam and his family provided the hospitality one would expect. My fiance and I loved the property so much that we are already planning a trip back in the early summer.

Fun Weekend Getaway

This property was perfect for our long weekend visit for some bourbon tours and relaxing time with friends! The house is in a great location, just minutes from a few distilleries, and has a beautiful view. We had everything we needed, even umbrellas for a rainy day! The beds are comfortable and there were lots of thoughtful “extras” for us to use. We loved sitting in the hot tub in the evening and watching the creek as we had our coffee in the morning. We just loved it and hope to come back!

A Perfect Location for the Bourbon Trail

My friends and I came to visit the Bourbon tail for my 50th birthday, and this house was perfect for us. It's within an easy drive to Buffalo Trace, Woodford, Four Roses, and Bulliet. You have Castle & Keys and Glen Creek are just down the road. The house was beautiful. A excellent getaway house to relax and have fun. A definite return will be planned when we come back to the Bourbon Trail

Great place!

This VRBO is among the best I’ve experienced. Very clean, nicely decorated, thoughtful details, attentive hosts. Wholly recommend. Although in the country, that’s perfect for central Kentucky—you get great views and are near distilleries. Watched two mama deer grazing with their fawns in the yard, then crossing the creek behind the house. Lovely.
