Honeymoon getaway
We love our little condo we stayed in. The view of the ocean was great from the back balcony. Just like the photos showed. The washer & dryer in the unit made it easy to clean our clothes. Walking distant to shops and restaurants. Affordable compared to some hotels on the island. Would stay here again.

Inaccurate listing description, pest problem
Walking path just outside prop. does not exist. Actually 10 min walk away along side street and no sign to direct you to it. Didn’t find it til end of stay and VERY bummed. Host said they use same pic and prop description for all prop along coast. Doesn’t apply to this prop!! Also ants in kitchen and bath. Kept everything in fridge and wiping counters constantly. View great, patio and beach access great. Great beach assessors for your use. Very comfortable bed. Nice pool area. Don’t ever complain, but people need to know description is inaccurate and the path was one of our main reasons for picking this unit. Ants everywhere weren’t particularly fun to wake up to either.

Great Value
Seas the Day is a nicely laid out condo with are large living area and kitchen. The king-sized bed is very comfortable and the air conditioning unit in the bedroom makes for a good night's sleep. This condo has every accessory anyone could possibly need. The kitchen is well equipped and there are ample pool toys and bath supplies. The office staff were helpful and nice. The unit was very clean and comfortable. That being said, it could use a kitchen and bath remodel ---but what is there is nicely kept and serviceable. The complex is close to the highway and across from the abandoned Coco Palms Resort, but it also has a nearly private beach off of the deck. The location was excellent for restaurants and getting to activities on both ends of the island. Also, it is only 6 miles from the airport (which was a 20 minute drive). Especially good restaurants were Passion Bakery (directly across the street) and The Napali Brewery (1 min walk). In 5 minutes you are at Coconut marketplace which has multiple restaurants and shops.

The property is in need up updates. The bathroom is much like a sauna- poor ventilation and an old fan. Thank goodness the bedroom had a separate unit- as the air flow/circulation in the condo is poor. When the front door is open it has a nice natural ventilation, but you can’t leave the front door open. Patio leaves little privacy which is ironic as the walls on the sides are great, but guests above each other hear everything! And the pictures do not show that the Kuhlio highway is your view. Be warned, although the surf does help drown out the noise you will see the oncoming lights and traffic. Location is perfect access to all parts of the island.

Perfect spot for a couple
We spent 2 weeks on Kauai… one in Poipu and the other in Wailua. Loved both. This Wailua condo had everything we needed. Very clean, well stocked, laundry in condo and a gorgeous view. Only complaint (and it’s not the fault of the property managers!) was the homeless down on the beach below us, were loud sometimes at night and we didn’t feel comfortable leaving our sliding door open.

Nice getaway
This condo is centrally located with a great view. When we first arrived we had trouble with the air conditioner located in the bedroom and the unit was replaced immediately. The property manager was very friendly and responsive. The only air conditioner was located in the bedroom which left the rest of the unit quiet warm. We probably wouldn’t want to book a unit again with only partial air in the middle of the summer but this was fully disclosed in the description, so we did realize what we were signing up for beforehand. All together this was a nice location, great pool and parking and was well stocked with chairs and beach accessories.

Pros: great location, beautiful view, pool, fairly easy beach access, beach chairs, towels and cooler provided, lovely trade winds, washer and dryer in the unit, spacious, simple but basic necessities provided Cons: ac did not work in bedroom, towels in bathroom need replaced (odd odor even after washing them), mold growing in the tub/shower (caulking needs replaced) whole unit needs a really deep clean

Lovely stay!
Everything was great here! The view from the patio can’t be beat and was so nice to have coffee by each morning. Comfortable bed and everything you need in bath / kitchen. Was super helpful to have beach equipment to borrow (chairs, cooler, umbrella, snorkels). Right across the street from the best masalada donuts! Also nice to have the pool area. Beautiful and well kept property. Thank you for a great stay!

Comfortable and centrally located
We spent a week in this condo and overall really enjoyed our stay. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed. The building is very well maintained and the gardens are lovely (the caretaker is also very friendly and efficient). The location made it easy to head to either side of the island and we enjoyed the proximity to many shops and restaurants. We saw sea turtles and even a monk seal in the bay from the lanai. We took advantage of the beach chairs and gear as well. The only thing we found was a significant amount of traffic noise. If you sleep with the AC unit on you likely won’t notice, but without it running we found it could be loud. Only a minor thing to note and we still had a great stay.

I was not notified about the construction that would be taking place on the property literally right outside my door. As I walked out, there was construction, tape and scaffolding set up. I had to listen to construction workers, drills saws, and smell paint every day I was on vacation. It would’ve been nice to have the opportunity to change locations.

Wailua bay has the softest sand…
The attention to having a seamless stay is evident. The property, pool, and condo are well maintained. Met mark who is a resident mgr, who also lives here was constantly attending the flora, talking with residents and guests. Cindy the vrbo property mgr was immediately avail thru email and answered all questions and concerns right away! Traffic outside the property is an issue while construction is going on, but should be bettah soon, as they’re widening the road for easier flow. Finally, wailua bay may look rough and you must always be careful with the ocean and know your limits. However, it is shallow quite a ways out. There is no rocks or sea urchins so i felt safe with my barefeet. The sand was soooo soft. Closest to the condo was where the bay was usually the most calm and we saw many swimmers from our lanai!
