Good location

We stayed here for one night. I read previous reviews and brought bedding with us. We definatly needed it. The sleeping arrangements are a bit odd with taking a mattress off of each bed to make two beds in each smaller bedroom. There is also very light kitchen supplies. There are no mixing bowls or cutting boards and there are no spices besides salt and pepper. For the amount of people that it can acommodate, the seating is very limited as well. We had a good time and the house served its purpose.

Lacking in bedding & other items

The house and location were decent. The beds had a bottom sheet only, with a small blanket folded at the bottom of the bed and no bedspread or extra blankets anywhere. No soap in the bathrooms. It is suppose to accomodate 6 people but did'nt have 6 coffee cups. In addition, there should be instructions on locking the door when you leave. I locked the front door not knowing I was suppose to just close it and put the code in. I would have helped to have that information posted somewhere. We were locked out when we returned late at night. Luckily, there happened to be a door that was left unlocked and not by us. There also wasn't enough bath towels for 6 people. The house itself was fine and the neighborhood was nice. I just hope the homeowner will stock the house with the lacking items and an information list is there for people that have never used a code to enter and relock a door. Dish towels in the kitchen would also be nice as we had to use paper towels to dry dishes we used.

Disappointed

I came to California for a family reunion and stayed for 4 nights. Before we left on our vacation I tried to reach out to the owner through email 3 times over a few weeks time to see about the linens and the coffee pot. (Kuerig or regular) I did hear from owner the day before traveled, and he apologized for not getting back with me and sent the check in instructions. After traveling we reached the location and found mold in the coffee pot and beds that had a fitted sheet and a blanket. It is just as it appears in the picture on line.. There were towels but one wash cloth, one. No ice maker. I would not stay here again. As a positive, it was clean.
