Arrive at the anchor house and prepare to tie up your boat in the canal for an early morning fish or afternoon dolphin cruise. Walk up the stairs and take in the nearly 360 degree views of the San Luis pass, Cold Pass, Gulf, and West Galveston Bay. Owner may use boat which could be in the lift and will require zero interaction with the guests.

This property will sleep 10 comfortably, but with multiple sofas, day beds, and a bonus room you can sleep more.

There is a washer an dryer in the house. Linens are provided. There are enough towels for about 7 people.

Family Fishing Trip

Loved the house and the location. Was able to fish with everyone right off the dock in the backyard and was walking distance to the beach.

Water front paradise

Love the views being on water was great. Wil recommended to friends. Great place to fish and go to beach . Only issue is if you need something it's long way to a store . I loved it will be back in future.

Independence Day 2023

This stay was wonderful overall. The house was well-appointed and very comfortable for 12 people. The best parts of the stay was the easy access to the local beaches, the openness of the house, and proximity to Galveston or Lake Jackson shopping. The biggest drawback of the stay was lack to certain amenities of the home, such as the convenience elevator or hot tub, which was probably stated but overlooked in the listing. Overall, the house was a great deal and ideally situated for making a lifetime of memories for friends and family.

Decent Rental

Me and my family stayed here for a weekend trip. The check in process was simple with a lock box on the door with the key inside. The owner was very easy to reach via text and phone. I even locked us out and he was prepared with a spare in another lock box. Cons: the house was not very clean. The floors were very dirty and the there were dead bugs in the floor. The kitchen counters and sink were dirty with gunk built up in the sink. The primary bedroom mattress was not comfortable and the sheets were too small. They came off every night while we were sleeping. Lastly, the 4th bedroom is like an enclosed porch and it is way to hot in there to sleep. Beware of the mosquitoes on the lower level and boat dock area. They were horrible. Be sure to take bug spray.

Clean and spacious

I have rented a few different properties around the area. This is one of the cleanest property I’ve been to!! Extra extra points since we had a toddler with us. Owner is very nice and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend!!

Price and experience were both great!

We had a great experience staying here, there was plenty of beds for our big group. The property being on water was really nice. And whenever we had trouble, Stan was readily available to help. Because of that we are planning to rent again every year when possible. Thanks Stan!

The house was very beautiful and lean when we got there, there was only a few small things wrong, On one of the bedrooms the sheets and blankets were wet I believe they forgot to dry them or I’m not sure what happen, Second thing on the master bedroom the sheets were dirty, Also the lights in the back did not work bu rover all the stay was nice and house was beautiful
