Hello, we are thrilled that you chose our home to vacation. If you need anything please reach out to us. We are here for you while you stay in our home.
Home is about 15 minutes to Williams (Grand Canyon Train). We also have Bearizona that is also about 15 minutes away. The Grand Canyon is roughly 45 minutes away from Home. Flagstaff is about 30 minutes away. Our home is amazing with an amazing view of the valley. This being said there is a dirt road that you will need to drive onto in order to get to the property. We are about 2 miles off the paved highway. We highly recommend our guest's to prepare ahead of time. If it snows and or rains heavily your vehicle must be able to maneuver in these conditions. We highly recommend four wheel drive and or chains when it rains or snows. Please plan ahead of time and be prepared.
In the winter months it gets really cold. It is really important not to turn off the thermostat or set below 68 degrees. In the cold winter this can freeze the water pipes and there will be no running water. This being said when you check out please make sure that the thermostat is on heat mode and set to at least 68 degrees in the winter.
Water is a valuable commodity in the high country. Our water is delivered on a weekly basis and is very expensive. Please limit your shower times and conserve as much water as you can. We have never ran out of water but have been very close. For this reason we do not allow our guests to use the washing machine. We do most of our laundry offsite for this reason. Thank you for understanding.
Wildlife is amazing on The Hillside Cabin and if you're lucky you may run into Elk, Deer or at times bobcats. This wildlife is are great treasure and we love them. Please make sure you are careful and respectful to them and always watch your children at all times.
We are always a phone call away. If you need anything please feel free to call us. Enjoy our home!

Our family, consisting of 4 adults thoroughly enjoyed staying at this cabin. Very cozy and warm. We made good use of the pool table. Wouldn’t hesitate to return.
I was worried this place would not be little car friendly but it definitely is. Do not worry the dirt road is not that bad at all. The porch is beautiful the owner was very kind and answered very quick when we asked to bring our propane fire pit on the porch. Very fun stay. I would recommend a hot tub on that big porch but yes very fun. Beautiful home very clean.
This property was the perfect place to experience a snowy winter! The views were amazing, it was close to the places like downtown Williams and the Grand Canyon, and it was very spacious for our family. I was extra impressed with the cleanliness of the house as well as how warm the bedding and pellet stove were.
We would happily stay here again!
The house is away from town but there are houses down the road. Our house was very clean and had items needed for our stay. We spent most of our time on the huge deck. We heard an elk bugling not too far away and coyotes howling. We sat in the many lounge chairs on the deck and viewed the stars, satellites zooming by, the riding of the orange moon over the mountain and we saw shooting stars too. Awesome house if you prefer to be out of town and away from the hustle and bustle.
Had a nice stay. I suggest if you book that you have a 4 wheel or all wheel drive vehicle. Roads are mai tained by residents so can be bump. Location excellent close but still away from crowds. Only suggestion; more kitchen towels and some zip lock bags. It was a great stay!!!
We had a great time. Had my grandsons birthday party and the whole family had a great time from playing corn hole to roasting marshmallows and playing pool. Close to Grand Canyon, the zoo and tons of other stuff to do for adults and kids. Property manager is quick and very responsive. Loved our time at the home. Thank you again.
This property was very nice and my family really enjoyed it. Only thing that was not up to my standards was the air conditioning in the house. It took a while to cool down and my kids were hot in the first few hours of us being there but other than that, this home was awesome from inside and out. Loved the inside makes you feel like your in a luxury cabin.
Everyone in the family enjoyed the house. Very clean, and modern. We happened to go during a time when it rained a lot, so we were in the house much more than planned. The pool table and games in the house were great. One of the nicest places we have stayed as far as vrbo/air b and b.
We had an amazing stay, beautiful cabin, very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Plenty of room and very spacious. I would stay here again!
Beautiful home with a lot of land. Clean and full kitchen for cooking and entertaining. Beautiful deck and stuff to do for the entire family. We enjoyed the scenery, horseshoe pits, pool table, fire pit, and most of all exploring the area. Owners were also incredibly attentive and responsive to our questions. We will definitely be staying here again!
