This house was perfect for our family. Great location near shops, restaurants, and grocery store. Pool was nice. You do not need to heat the pool during the summer as the natural Palm Springs sun will warm the pool for you. We enjoyed your stay.
We rented this house in 2023, loved it, and rented it again in September of 2024. The property manager is great. We had a few questions during our stay and he always responded right away. The house is in a great neighborhood, close to everything. What we loved most was the pool and yard. We brought our two dogs who had as much fun as we did!
Nice house, clean, spacious. It is however, under the departing flight path from the airport. (I didn't see this mentioned in any reviews). So, from 6am to 10pm, there is regular airplane noise. If you have light sleepers (especially children) its worth taking into consideration. It stops and starts ON TIME. (There are also no fans or airflow, so you need to keep windows open, which obviously means louder outside noise).Hot tub and pool are a bit run down - missing tiles, grout. But the pool is nice and gets both sun and shade over the course of the day. The grass patch is nice and spacious, and the mural in the backyard is very cute. The house is missing some easy basics that would make it much better - there are no sheet pans in the kitchen, the beds are very loud (wood legs on cement floors are loud), there's no fan/airflow in the house so you have to keep windows open, but then the loud planes are a different issue, the closets need more hangers, and there isn't any non-hanger storage (no drawers, shelves, etc.)It was a nice place, and the pros outweigh the cons, but there are pretty big cons.
What we loved most about this house is the pool & yard. The pool is nice & big, and clean. There’s lounge chairs for sunning and a large grassy area as well. We used the propane BBQ one night for steaks. We also enjoyed the fire pit at night. The kitchen had everything needed and the living room/tv set up was great. Check in was easy. I think we’ll request this same house next year.
Things we loved:
Location is great - easy access to Palm Springs and surrounding cities.
Frame TV and fully stocked kitchen/laundry (including detergent which was helpful).
Spa heated up quickly and was relaxing.
Mural in backyard was great for photos to commemorate our trip.
Good check in communication day-of from the property manager and he was quick to solve the water heater problem the best he could given the circumstances.
Things we didn’t love:
Beds were all VERY uncomfortable, my wife and I ended up in two twins because the master bed cushion is so broken/saggy you can’t lay in it without falling off the edge. Maybe the worst beds of any rental I’ve ever stayed in.
Front of house heats up from sun, hard to cool and instructions say you can’t cool the house lower than 76 degrees.
Water heater was broken when we arrived. No hot water for 18 hours and spent our entire first morning waiting for the handyman to arrive and complete the repair. Never heard again from property managers to follow up or confirm how they would make it right for us.
The floors were filthy and the bathrooms needed more TLC. Our feet and/or socks were covered in dirt during our stay and there was hair all over both bathroom floors and showers.
Checkin process was easy, house was cute. A number of outlets didn't work, leaving us unable to use our blow dryer in the bathroom, or get the lights on the back patio to work. Property manager did not reply to telephone message regarding outlets.
Kitchenware was sparse and a bit of a hodgepodge. No convenient outlets near bed in master made charging phone/iPad at bedside impossible.
Overall comfortable stay.
The house was very comfortable and clean. My only real complaint was that we did not have control over the pool or spa temp. I had to text the manager to find out what the temp of the water (important because we had a baby with us). Also had to ask him to turn the spa on 45 minutes before we wanted to use it and then had to either give an end time or to re up it regularly. Just not a great spontaneous vacation vibe. Also the pool was pretty dirty when we got there. There had been a wind storm the day before. But more than the leaves, the pool and spa walls were dirty looking. Water pressure in kitchen was ridiculously low. Took FOREVER to fill a pot for pasta. But beds were comfy and the house itself was nicely appointed and clean. Neighborhood is quiet and not too far from downtown Palm Springs.
We came from Colorado for a winter break with our college son, high school daughter and 2 dogs. This house was perfect! The property manager met us in the driveway at night and let us in. Gave us a quick over view and then left us to enjoy our vacation. Big-ish swimming pool (not just plunge-sized) with floats in the garage to use and we paid for heating. Half circle hot-tub (we paid for it to be hot) that fit us fine (not huge but fine). You will have to text the property manager to have him turn on the hot tub remotely and then turn it off as the pool and hot tub can not be heated at the same time. A large astro-turf area for our dogs to play, etc. Concrete floors in house in case the dogs had an accident for easy clean-up (they didn't). Nice neighborhood but the planes over-head are loud. Check-out was easy in our opinion. We washed and dried all the pool towels but it was not required. Would absolutely rent this home again or another in their portfolio.
Our stay was short but perfect. The house was adorable and had everything we needed. The property manager was informative and always very responsive. Highly recommended this house!!
