Way Up Acres is a 50-acre farm/homestead. This is a charming vintage camper. At the Black Bear site, you will have a fire ring, 2 chairs, Full size bed with sheets and blanket, lamp, tv & dvd player, electric heater and a/c. This camper is for 2 people but could accommodate 1-2 small children by turning the table into a bed. There is a bath house in close proximity to the camper for our guests to use. You need to bring your own towels and personal care items. We have farm animals that you will fall in love with and a lot of area to go hiking if you like to. The stars and fireflies are amazing at night. If you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, then this is the place for you. Pastures everywhere you look. While you are here you can say Hi to all our farm animals and watch them play. Relax and unwind from everything here. Enjoy the beautiful views all around and connect with nature. Our Cafe and Marketplace are next door in the big metal building. Come grab a bite to eat and shop. Moncove lake is about 10 minutes away where you can fish and kayak and with a community swimming pool. We are close to Humpback bridge, Cheese n more store, bakery, Hanging rock observatory, Jefferson National Forrest, Greenbrier State Forrest, Falling Springs Falls, caverns and more. We are about 10 mins to a very small town with grocery store and about 45 mins to Lewisburg which is voted best small town in USA where there is more shopping and bigger stores along with antique stores.

We stayed here on a hunting trip. The location was perfect for our needs. The camper was comfortable and very clean. Everything was as described. The owner’s are very nice. The land was beautiful. I would definitely recommend staying here.
This was the most relaxing trip we have had in along time. The owners are so friendly and personable. We loved feeding the animals and even held baby goats. The peacocks are gorgeous and I loved waking up to there noises. I would recommend this property for anyone. You'll love it.

This was a fun stay. The camper was clean and comfortable. We ate meals with friends in Blacksburg so I can’t speak to the eating places nearby. The game room was small but had a variety of board games. The bathroom off the game room was clean, bring your own towel. The wi-fi in the game room worked like a charm, fast and reliable. The camper was cozy and had reliable electricity to charge things. The bed was quite comfortable, as well. This is a working property with farm animals in the barn and that was fun. They even have a couple of peacocks! Loved our stay here, brief as it was. Will stay again.
