Villa Monica with Pool and Seaview

Villa is situated at the top of the village with breath taking view to the sea, village and the beautiful valley underneath. It was newly re-built with three floors in combination of modern materials and stone to ensure maximum comfort but keeping the village spirit and Mediterranean look. Land has approx. 1000 m2 with 3-4 parking places, children playground (trampoline, swings, slide, sand box...) and outdoor pool with shower. Our swimming pool is equipped with special LED pool lights system that creates a magical atmosphere and reflections during summer nights. There are static or dynamic light programs that can create perfect scene for peaceful and romantic dinners with a glass of fine dalmatian wine or be a perfect decor for a colorful party evening! House has approximately 300 m2 of main living space with 6 double bedrooms. It has 2 bathrooms, gym/living room (Orbitrack/Crosstrainer,Room bicycle,etc.), 3 bedrooms, sauna and Sony Soundbar at the top floor and on the middle floor it has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and spacious living room (with fireplace, stone bar and 3 bar chairs, home cinema and Sony Soundbar for music and films) connected to a large terrace (80% roof, beautiful sea view). On the ground floor close to the pool is main kitchen, dining room and living room with entertainment (billiard,table football/soccer, darts play machine available on request and paid separately-standard game price like in caffe), bathroom and spacious terrace with Barbecue. Boat mooring option available.

More about villa: Villa also has air conditioning and solar heating. Owners are pets-friendly. The altitude above sea level is approx. 100 meters having excellent air quality. For family with a small child a children bed, playard, feeding chair and small inflatable swimming pool is available and in special cases 2 additional double-beds could be unfolded in living room. GSM signals are well covered on this location and villa has also high-speed Internet access on two desks as well as satellite TV in living rooms. For bigger groups there is additional smaller kitchen and dining room on the top floor. Property has also 2 standard bicycles with helmets. With the combination of luxury accommodation, isolated from tourist crowd although not very far, with unique position, environment spirit and breat htaking views this villa can be perfect sanctuary and leisure heaven for artistic souls, families, friends or anyone searching for peace in the place with strength, character and perfect climate. Newly added: Indoor Table-tennis (ping pong) table room with 2 rackets/balls. Optional services: boat trips and rentals and island excursions, catering to the villa from the restaurant.Location: From April to October you can spend excellent time from extended weekend to few weeks enjoying the villa and Brac island with surrounding excursions (Split, Hvar, Dubrovnik). If you are searching for relaxation, new inspiration, new ideas, keeping or gaining strength this is for sure one of places where it could be found. The villa and the village really fit into the Croatian tourist slogan: «Mediterranean as it once was...Tennis courts, scuba diving, bicycle, scooter and boat rental within 15-20 minutes drive from the villa. Possible excursions: to Hvar island, around Brac island, to Cetina river, big game fishing, etc. Village Lozisce (spelled Lozhische) is on the west side of the island with south-west view to the sea. With approx. 150 residents and under protection of Croatian government as a cultural heritage, village is untouched enclave of old Mediterranean spirit in magnificent environment. Residents are mostly peasants/ranchers/fishermen and still working in many things «the old way» meaning with donkeys, horses and small boats. All houses in the village are made of stone with beautiful church in the middle of the village. Due to COVID-19 situation, special attention is paid this year to the level of hygiene in Villa Monica. We plan to ensure additional level of desinfection so that guests feel comfortable. One of the top vacation options will be a private villa with private pool on the island and it is practically a perfect spot and accommodation for having summer holiday in the situation like we all have with virus risks - on the island, with many different beaches where you can really have a social distance from other tourists.

Amazing

The reality is way better than the photos! The view is breathtaking! The villa is designed for all ages and equiped with all the appliances for feeling home away from home. The pool is generously sized. The owner paid attention for small details to make it as comfortable as possible, like rubbish bins next to the barbecue, dishwashing tablets, towels for the pool… We cannot wait to spend another holiday in the villa!!!

Great villa in a beautiful village.

Had a lovely week here, just two of us in this huge house. Loved the views of the sea and hills and the regular bell ringing from the church. The house was so well equipped, and the pictures on the web site do not do it justice.

Urlaub auf einer wundervollen Insel

Wir, 5 Erwachsene und 5 Kinder zwischen 9 und 13 Jahren, verbrachten 11 herrliche Tage auf Brac. Der Aufenthalt in der Villa Monica war ganz toll. Das ausgezeichnet ausgestattete Haus bietet viele Freizeitmöglichkeiten. Bei Billard, Tischtennis oder Tischfußball kann man sich bestens erholen. Weiters gibt es Gym Geräte und einige Spiele. Der farblich beleuchtete Pool ist eine weitere Attraktion. Auf der Insel gibt es einige herrliche Strände und viele ausgezeichnete Lokale. Eher eine Enttäuschung ist der vielgelobte Strand in Bol. Völlig überlaufen und maßlos überteuert. Die Fährverbindung bei der Hinreise (Dienstag) war problemlos, die Rückreise (Freitag) aber problematisch. Hier sollte man eine Erhöhung der Frequenz der Fährverbindung überlegen. Dies sind aber schon die einzigen negativen Erlebnisse.

Amazing stay at villa Monica

The reality of this villa is even better than the pictures would suggest. It is a stunningly tranquil location with fantastic views. We travelled as two families and although it was a bit of a pain having to get in the car to go anywhere this was offset by the brilliant amenities at the villa which kept young kids, teenagers, and adults amused. The owners are very keen to support the stay and helped out with things like taxis and were always on hand when needed. Apart from the mosquitoes this exceeded our expectations and anyone looking for a large villa in possibly one of the best settings you can find then this was perfect.

Spectacular panoramic view but average accommodations

Overall the place is adequate but we didn't love it. For a large family with kids the place has 6 bedrooms and lots of space however the house has an awkward layout and flow and is oddly furnished and overly cluttered. On the top floor there is the master bedroom which opens out onto a gym area. There is also a non-functioning small kitchen, a sauna built into a corner of the upstairs, a second bedroom with a queen bed and a bedroom with a bunkbed. The main floor has a living room, bar with fridge and bar sink, decent outdoor deck and three bedrooms - one with a bathroom attached and one additional detached bathroom. The kitchen is on the lower floor at the pool level. It is small without much counter space to cook/prep but adequately furnished. The main issue is that it is part of the family room with the pool table and foosball and tv room. Biggest annoyance is that the kids hangout place is part of the same room as the kitchen and can be very loud ...On the positive side The property manager Hana was very responsive and helpful. Beware there is a requirement to provide a 500 euro cash deposit for damages upon arrival, despite purchasing accident insurance with VRBO. This requirement is in the fine print of the rental agreement. At our other Croatian VRBO Rental the host provided us with complimentary welcome wine, beer and local olive oil. At Villa Monica, there is a mini-shop were you can pay for bottles of wine and Raid Mosquito Plug-ins. There were lots of mosquitos hiding in the bedrooms and while the house was clean upon arrival there were still quite a few cobwebs in the upper ceiling corners and stairway etc. The house could use a deep clean. The pool is not very big but the kids used it along with the vintage slide. The adults didn't use it at all. There are ample lounge chairs on the pool view deck. Sunsets were beautiful....The small mountain village is pretty deserted, the grocery store is only open in the morning and evenings and more of a mini-mart. It was never open when we needed something... The town is far away from pretty much everything - you need to drive to get anywhere. We did have a fantastic meal at the nearby port of Bobvisca. Konoba Kogula perfectly grilled our 1st class dentist fish that was the best fish on the island or anywhere else this past year. Konoba Vala was also nice and a different setting right along the edge of the water for the night. Overall Villa Monica was fine but not something for us to repeat.

Amazing property

From the moment I began inquiring about the property to the time of check out, Hana was amazing. Even though it was close to her time of having her first baby, she was very very helpful and communicative. I cannot say enough as to how beautiful the property is: great views, amazing location with easy access to Milna, a local grocery store (small but had fresh bread, pastries, fruit every morning). With restaurants and a marina only 5 minutes drive, it was a perfect location for the 9 of us (plenty of space for us all) I highly recommend this property.

Great House and wonderful vacation

We had a lay over of 2 weeks with three families and it was great! The house was very clean and exactly as described. All pictures are realistic and how it was live. The village has 70 inhabitants and is very quiet. The way from the main street to the house is a little bit tight but after 3 days it is possible to drive safety. The owner and also the agency are very friendly and helpful. Every question was answered in a very fast time. All kids and adults was very happy with the house, the pool, billard, Kicker and so much more. Also the pool was cleaned after some days (little improvement could be to clean it after 2 till 3 days). Short summary: - beautiful house - great view - very silent - many opportunities of fun - clean - great support - beds also lazy We enjoyed the trip and it was a pleasant stay! THANK YOU!

Spacious well-equipped villa, stunning sunsets, super holiday!

The villa is very well laid out with large bedrooms, good communal spaces, plenty of bathrooms, and good facilities (kitchen equipment, pool table, table football table, outside barbecue, excellent loungers). The view is to die for as the sunsets over the islands of Dalmatia. We walked down every day to the beautiful bay nearby in Bobivsce, swam in the sea, and came back and grilled fish or meat and ate in the nice inside/outside seating area. Excellent service throughout, highly recommend!

Picturesque villa in a small, charming village

Our family of five spent a week at Villa Monica, a beautiful property that sits high on a hill with gorgeous views of the sea and village of Lozisca. The outdoor space is incredibly beautiful and is where we spent most of our time, relaxing by the large pool and eating on the terraces outside. The children loved the game rooms - 2 in the villa - one in the main house and the ping pong table in the house below. Hana, the property manager, was excellent and incredibly helpful. She sent us information about the property a week in advance, helping us prepare for our arrival. The check-in procedure was smooth and Andrea, the local contact who helped with check-in and check-out, was lovely and very helpful. Hana was helpful in booking a boat excursion to the Blue Lagoon and Trogir for us, which was definitely the highlight of our trip. We spent most of our days outdoors and Villa Monica was perfect for that. The inside of the property was a bit outdated but functional. Arriving at the villa requires driving up a narrow, winding road, so experienced drivers should drive. A car is probably necessary if you want to explore all parts of the island, although we did see many bikers and buses. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Villa Monica and would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a peaceful retreat off the beaten path. It was exactly what we wanted for our holiday.

Perfeckte Villa mit wunderschönem ausblick..

Ende August waren wir mit insgesamt 9 Personen für eine Woche in der Villa. Die Villa ist sehr groß und enthält alles was sie in der Beschreibung verspricht. Außerdem wurden wir sehr nett empfangen. Unsere Erwartungen wurden alle erfüllt, so das wir uns in dieser kurzen Zeit erholen konnten. Der einzige Nachteil waren die engen Straßen innerhalb des Dorfes. Alles in allem kann ich die Villa auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen.

Fantastic villa with beautiful surroundings.

We were a group of three families who stayed in this beautiful villa and had a great vacation here. The view is stunning, the villa is very spacious, clean and well equipped. All children and adults enjoyed the pool and all other games/activities that were possible in the house. The owner and his assistent were very helpful, serious and easy to deal with. We definitely recommend this place and would love to come back.

Fantastischer Ausblick und Platz in Hülle und Fülle

Wir verbrachten im Juni 2017 2 Wochen, mit 3 Familien und insgesamt 12 Personen eine sehr schöne Zeit in diesem Haus. Platz ist reichlich vorhanden und das Haus ist insgesamt sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Kommunikation, der Empfang und die Abwicklung vorort waren absolut problemlos. Einziges Manko waren diverse Bauarbeiten im Ort, welche die Ruhe doch hin und wider störten.

Fabulous Viila with everything you could need

We stayed as a group of three families. The position of the Villa is stunning. The children and adults loved the pool and there was everything we could have hoped for. There are plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms and the whole villa has a very spacious feel. The caretaker and owner were very helpful and easy to deal with. We would highly recommend this to others.

Great vacation, beautiful villa and surroundings

Just a short note to say that we really enjoyed staying at Villa Monica. The views were breath taking. I already miss the bell tower and its chimes. We will definitely return some day. Kind regards

A house that has it all

We were five small familys who rented this house together. We couldn't have been more pleased. The house is very large and is in very good shape. we all had private rooms and bathrooms. In the bottom of the house there is a well equiped kitchen and entertainement such as a pool table, tv and fussball. Outside there is a lovely outdoor room for dinners with a barbeque and the terrasse and the pool area is great too. The view is breath taking and can be enjoyed from one of the three terrasses. Branco was very helpfull and made our stay convenient. The area is beatiful and there is a cute little harbour with two restaurants and places to go swimming just 4 min away by car. Overall a lovely stay in a great house. We will come back.

Fantastic place to get away from it all.

What a fantastic place! It is in a sleepy village on Brac Island where the famous Zlatni Rat beach is located. You can escape from the tourist crowds at this quiet villa, but be within an easy drive of all the sites in Brac, which itself is an easy 50 minute car ferry ride to Split. I must say this was probably the most well equipped vacation rental I have ever rented. The kitchen was VERY well equipped with everything you could need to cook up a great meal. The deck is incredible and listening to the church bells toll while sipping wine watching the sun set over the Adriatic was awfully nice. The place is huge too, so you can really get some space for larger groups, though it is priced well enough that we rented it for just the 4 of us. It was immaculate,, better than described and we found ourselves having a hard time leaving to go sightseeing. Branko was fantastic to deal with and answers emails at light speed. He helped out with anything we needed and really made the entire process a delight. This place is the best. If you want to have an oasis of quiet right in the heart of the Central Dalmatian Coast's tourist areas, it is a perfect fit. Great value, great host and great house.

Great vacation

it has been a nice surprise to discover that the villa, if possible, is even better than in the pictures. Our stay there was perfect and all the amenities and conforts were excellent. Also the location is suitable to visit that beautiful Island and we reached every nice area easily. the owner is a very nice, serious and careful person. I want to thank The owner for this opportunity and I recommend this property to anyone who wants to take a very nice vacation.

Beautiful Villa, Peaceful Scenic Location

Our group of 11 (ages 6-65) had a great week at Villa Monica. We all had more than enough space to ourselves and we spent hours on the patio and in the pool, cooking dinner on the outdoor grill and enjoying the views. Lozisca itself is a quiet peaceful town that we enjoyed walking (hiking) through, and the general store/small grocery proved useful on several occasions. Nearby towns offered nice lunch and dinner options by the harbors, and the large nearby town of Supetar provided beach days, full sized grocery options and some entertainment. Marko himself was very responsive and helpful. It was a fun week.
