This home sits in an open meadow just east of Highway 1. Scenic hiking trails are accessible from the property, Del Mar's heated outdoor pool, tennis courts, and saunas are less than a half-mile walk from the house, and the oceanfront Bluff Trail is only a block or so beyond that.
Enter by way of a sheltered courtyard, where you'll find the hot tub, a gas grill, and cushioned outdoor seating to enjoy in the afternoon sunshine. Inside the main part of the home, you'll be greeted by a two-story great room with generous windows and a gas fireplace to warm you as you watch movies at night. This space blends into an open kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a large island with bar seating, and an adjacent dining room table. An expansive deck - with hammocks, loungers, and rocking chairs - wraps around the house and is accessible through multiple glass doors.
The second-floor loft is a beautiful spot to escape with a good book, set up your laptop, or enjoy a board game. When it's time to turn in, you'll find that each bedroom has its own bathroom and direct access to the outdoors, including a primary suite with a TV, a soaking tub and a shower, and a separate dressing room. The third bedroom is in a detached casita across the courtyard with its own shuffleboard table, refrigerator, and workspace.

Children count toward the home's maximum occupancy.
This home has a strict no-pets policy due to extreme owner-family allergies.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles.
Security camera details: There are two active security cameras; one is by the garage and looks out to the driveway, and the other is in the side yard. If we detect more than six people on the property at any time, guests will be asked to vacate the property immediately.
Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours. This technology is privacy compliant, and only monitors the presence of decibels and devices-not any personal conversation or information. Thank you for supporting our efforts to be good neighbors!
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
