Get ready for Summer, and make memories with your family at this year round, pet friendly lake cabin with a sand beach. Enjoy the gorgeous views overlooking the lake, play outside, or cozy up to a bonfire, and take in the scenic views of nature at your doorstep. Enjoy the sand and water from your own private beach or fish from the dock, jump into the paddle boat, or slip into one of the kayaks or paddle board for a little more adventure.

Buffalo Lake cabin offers privacy with the luxury of having the cutest little town less than a minute away. Check out the local Icecream establishment during Summer months, and shop at the Richwood Store only 1 mile away for most of your needs. There is a liquor store only a minute's drive as well, and we are also near 3 Bears Golf Course and the Tamarac Refuge. A short drive will also get you to Detroit Mountain for their seasonal festivities, for skiing and tubing, or to downtown Detroit Lakes.

Outdoor security cameras may be in use to monitor property.

If traveling in the winter during a period of heavy snow, some cars with less tire traction may have difficulty getting up the driveway. In the past, guests have parked at the top of the hill but it has rarely been an issue.

Amazing stay

When I say this VRBO was top notch, they were so nice from a little card, snacks, it being clean, the best location, and just checking in to make sure everything was okay. No issues at all, my family all collectively agreed that we would like to stay here again in the future!

Family trip

My family loved this cabin. It had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. We enjoyed using the kayak, paddle boats, paddle board and the fishing pole. We had a fire several nights. Our dog loved playing in the water and we even made a sandcastle. We would love to come back!

We had a wonderful weekend at the lake. We were welcomed right from the start with a gift basket of goodies. The couch and throw blankets are perfect for curling up and watching movies. The cabinets were stocked with necessities in both the kitchen and bathroom- seasonings, coffee, first aid, sunscreen, laundry detergent, shampoo, and even some toothpaste in case you forgot. The kayaks and water toys were well clean and well maintained. And the beds…best beds, pillows and linens we have come across in any rental thus far.

Cozy Cabin Christmas

The cabin was the perfect size for our family of 7. We arrived in the evening, it was dark outside and we were greeted with a very cozy ambiance. A warm and beautifully decorated cabin that resembles a Hallmark movie set. The fireplace was on, and the welcome basket had perfect snacks for us hungry travelers while we made our dinner. The cabin was very clean and was also well equipped, from our necessities to entertainment, tv(s), puzzles, board games, and a roomy 4 season porch for our 10 years old to run around in. The host was very easy to reach when we had a question. We are planning to go back this summer too❣️

Wonderful Getaway

Our family had a wonderful time at the cabin! The place was so cozy and the lake setup was perfect with all the fun water toys and beach seating. I appreciated the hosts attention to detail and how easy they were to communicate with. Definitely one of our favorite stays!

We had an excellent week in the sun and on the lake at this cabin. Plenty of room to spread out. The cabin had everything you’d think of looking for and more. Would stay again and would highly recommend, you won’t regret it!

Very Rustic cabin that could use updates. Very small master bedroom and kitchen. Kitchen had poor working space, no dishwasher or disposal. Overall cabin lighting was poor. Beach, firepit and Grills were great as was the deck. This property was overpriced for the size and amenities.

Excellent place!

This place was amazing! Perfect for family time - lots for kiddos to do and our dogs loved it! Clean, cozy cabin feel and decor, and had everything we needed (fully stocked kitchen with appliances and cooking utensils, toiletries, etc). Ramey was very communicative, and we had no issues with our stay. Nice dock to tie the pontoon, clean beach with sand, and good swimming. Caught lots of panfish, perch, northern pike, and bass. Welcome binder and basket were a nice touch. A+++

Quick 4 night family trip

This was a great cabin with a nice private beach. I was looking for a quick getaway with my husband and kids. This was perfect. Ramey was very responsive and helpful with my random questions. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Property!

We had such a relaxing Labor Day weekend at this property. The beach area was clean, not a piece of seaweed in site and allowed us to enjoy the water as well as our dogs. The hosts had the property stocked with basically any and every kitchen took you might need. This is a superb property, we will most definitely be back!

Relaxing week on the lake

We absolutely loved this cabin on Lake Buffalo! We stayed for a week with our kids (ages 10 & 7) & our dog. We spent most of the time on the sand at the lake, the kids loved going down the slide in the lake & they were able to catch fish off the dock. We also loved using their kayaks & floaties to just relax in the lake. The lake itself is super quiet, neighbors are nearby but with the trees between the properties we felt secluded. The cabin has super comfortable beds, plus extra pillows & blankets if needed. We loved curling up on the couch to watch movies at night! This cabin has EVERYTHING you could possibly need. Ramey was super easy to work with & very responsive to our needs or if we had any questions. We would absolutely recommend to anyone that they stay here. We'd love to stay again!

Privacy, Peace & Calm

First of all, property owner Ramey is communicative and responsive within minutes (not that we needed anything). We were greeted by a welcoming card, a goodie basket, fresh eggs in the fridge and a personalized “welcome FAMILY NAME pic”. Cabin is cutely decorated, beds are comfortable and AC works well both upstairs and downstairs for a good night’s sleep. Dock was doable to tether our 20 ft I/O boat and swimming area was safe for our 12 year old. Detroit Lakes an 11 mile quick trip on a rainy day. A relaxing family getaway!
