The condo is a short walk down a private, paved path through a small rainforest to lovely Pu'u Poa beach, or you can have the resort staff transport you by golf cart if you prefer. The beach is renowned for swimming, surfing, snorkeling, and paddleboarding, as well as its sheer beauty, surrounded by lush mountains on Hanalei Bay.

There are two pools at Hanalei Bay Resort, the larger being an award-winning lagoon-style pool with waterfalls, a spa hot tub, and a children's pool with a shady beach and sandy bottom. Originally built as a tennis resort, the property features some of the finest tennis facilities on the island, including eight tennis/pickleball courts and a pro shop. Condos contain lockouts, meaning there are shared doors. Sounds may be audible between connecting doors.
Hanalei Bay Resort fees are due at check-in to the resort and are collected by the front desk. These include a one-time fee of $50 per reservation, a reservation fee of $6.75 for every non-owner reservation request, a $25 a day resort fee, and a $20 fee per car a day for parking.
Internet provided by Hanalei Bay Resort does not support streaming services such as Netflix, Hulu, etc.

Hanalei Bay Resort swim-up pool bar is indefinitely closed.
This is a privately owned unit in a resort. Since it is privately owned and rented, hotel-style housekeeping is not offered. There is no daily housekeeping.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
