Comfy, cozy and rustic

We loved the rustic feel of this home. Spacious and cozy. But my favorite was taking a shower with their awesome shower heads! Like standing under a little waterfall!

Great House! Great Location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pelican Harbor. It was a great location in town with an amazing view from the upper deck and front rooms. Everything was well appointed. We would definitely stay there again!

Rockaway Rustic Rental

Loved the house. Cozy and well stocked kitchen. Property management not helpful with TV issue at all. They obviously only have records of the house but no experience with it. When I asked for help they told me the house only had one TV and I assured them it had two. Long story short, I figured it out myself. Other than that it was a sweet house and I would come again!!

Cute little cabin

The house was super cute! We brought 8 of us all together and I will say there’s not much moving around room in the common areas but that doesn’t matter if you are out on the beach all day. The house is super close to the beach so we could easily have bonfires every night. Kitchen is a good size and the fridge was really roomy so that helped with our big group! The only complaint I have is that there wasn’t any laundry detergent for us and we kept forgetting to grab some. Other than that everything went great! I would definitely rent this place again it was super cute and fun:) oh also if you are into surfing there is a nice hose that was great to rinse off wetsuits👍🏻 really helped out a lot!

Great view and easy beach access

We loved our stay. Pelican harbor was stocked with everything needed, including a crock pot. There was more than plenty of dishes for 8 people. The view is amazing and playing games at the table on a rainy day with such an amazing view was awesome. The beach access is only a couple of houses away. The couch was comfortable and the beds were decent. I wish there was more hot water because you got about a 10 min shower and then the water was ice cold for awhile. It seemed like we could get longer in the evening than the morning but showering 8 people meant lots of cold showers. Overall, we loved our stay here and are planning on being back!

For Rockaway beach area, a nice rental

Just a hundred yards or so to steps to the gorgeous, expansive beach. Comfortable deck with view of ocean and sunset. Comfy living room with large RV for movie watching. Somewhat dated but well appointed kitchen with every appliance we needed. Nice beds and linens. Good washer/dryer. Downside: for two adult couples, it was inconvenient to have only one bathroom on the main floor. The second bathroom was down the long, very steep set of stairs. Other note: the neighborhood is tired looking and adjacent to RR tracks. But from inside the house or in the beach that wasn’t noticeable. Overall a nice rental.

Great place for family

We stayed for T day week. Had a very relaxing time . House was clean and beds were comfy. Kitchen was adequately stocked with everything you need.. very enjoyable !

Family fun

Great house for pets. Beautiful view. Beds comfortable. Not enough dish soap, dishwasher soap or toilet paper. Only half the barbeque worked and the propane tank ( both) were empty. Had to drive 20 minutes one way to fill it.

Wonderful home

This home worked perfectly for us. 3 adults, 2 teenage boys and 12 year old. Location was great - just a short walk to town and super close to beach access. We also lost power once and management was quick to look into it. It would be nice to have a key to access the house instead of a long combination. We would definitely stay again!

Family beach vacay

Great location, walking distance to beach and to town. Cute beach house! Disappointed that the refrigerator didn't work well. Problem handled professionally, but unfortunately we had to throw food away. There was a disconnect over the amenities listed and what was actually there.

Good location

The pelican house was very nice overall. The things that could have made it a great rating would be better beds in all bedrooms. A better lock system, we were locked out for over an hour. The check in, check out times were early and late. Other then those things, it’s a very nice place, great space for family and friends.

Great beach house

Poor responses from Turnkey

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Place was nice but lock wouldn't lock behind us. We were told to find spare in the wrong place. Rep took twice as long to get there as we were told on phone. Not given instructions on what to do with spare when we left. Garbage pickup was listed on wrong day. Was told a rep would get back to us the next day when we wrote to ask about this. Got message the next day that we would hear the next day. Then told it was Thursday rather than Monday. Construction going on around us on three sites. Would have liked to have gotten a heads up.
