Villa Nautilus offers an excellent starting point for boaters. You will be on the open water in a few seconds.
The Hurricane sport boat for 10 people is included in the price of this villa. Boat handover will be done on the day after the check-in before 12 pm. The boat has a new Yamaha 150HP engine, GPS system with depth measurement and fish finder function, cool box, cabin and Bluetooth radio. BOATING IN FLORIDA IS ALLOWED WITHOUT A LICENSE!
Even completely inexperienced boaters get their money's worth here. The proximity to the open water makes driving child's play. Every boat driver receives a boat instruction when the house is handed over. This boat briefing is mandatory and costs $ 150. In addition to the introduction to the boat, you will also be given useful tips on the environment.
The villa itself is at the end of a street with no noticeable traffic. There is no quieter vacation. The Yachtclub Area is characterised above all by the many new villas on the river and the lovingly designed gardens. Restaurants and shops can be reached with the in-house bicycles as well as on foot. Cape Coral Beach is just a few minutes' walk away.
The holiday villa is equipped with everything your heart desires. The latest Sonos music surround boxes are distributed throughout the house. Living room (with TV), kitchen and pool area have the latest Sonos equipment, which can be used separately. TV with the highest sound result can be enjoyed at the same time while music is playing in the pool area.
The house has the full Comcast / Xfinity cable television package as well as access to German television with a media library and all Sky / DAZN programs.
The pool area faces west and guarantees sun all day long at the pool as well as fantastic sunsets. The pool can be secured for small children with a pool security. The pool area with large swimming pool and whirlpool can be heated separately.
Cooking experts get their money's worth in the kitchen. You don't have to do without anything in the holiday home either. All the amenities of a normal kitchen can be expected here. The kitchen also has a modern gas grill. A separate gas grill is of course also available on the terrace. In addition to the normal filter coffee machine, you can also use a Nespresso machine.
From the open living area, the kitchen and the dining room there is a view and access to the pool area. The villa has 2 separate master bedrooms with large king size beds. Ideal for 2 families, no parents have to do without the comfort of the master bedroom. The third bedroom has a queen bed. In the fourth bedroom there are 2 twin beds available.
All bedrooms except the children's room have TVs

We love this house and will stay again in the future. The location was great for what we want and now Cape Coral is our new vacation area.
Only thing that we would like to see is the master bedroom remote repaired and a tv in the third bedroom would really make this house better. Thank you Jim
Beautiful home close to downtown.
We enjoyed our stay at Nautilus
It’s next to the river makes for easy access, pool is a little smaller than it looks in photos but still very enjoyable. Couches need updated but not uncomfortable. The 4 bedrooms would be great for larger groups. Beautiful master shower but needs better shower heads. Not to criticize beautiful home and we enjoyed it just a few things we noticed might make it even better.
We would definitely stay here again.
Wow what an amazing home: from all the large rooms to all you need to cook, clean, and enjoy while on vacation with family and friends. The boat was so comfortable for our large family and the pool was perfect. The customer service and attention to detail from check in to details while there, we highly recommend this property and its management company. The boat provided us with fun filled days out in the water and fit all 8 of us comfortably. So many wonderful restaurants near by. Thank you Josh for the excellent recommendations from where to eat to where to fuel the boat. Million dollar homes in this neighborhood and on this side of Cape Coral made for great cruising up and down the canal. Looking forward to booking here again.
Let’s start with the nightly cost, it is only for 2 people. So if you bring 4 people to a 4 bedroom house like I did, then you have to pay 30 per person per night for each one over 2. The boat isn’t included like the listing says you will have to pay extra for that, classic bait and switch. Watch the owner on the electricity charges and boat fuel. I would make him show you the meter at check in because the estimate we got, the charges we doubled. We took the boat out (which we paid extra for) once and didn’t even go past the miserable mile, and were told we used it for 6hrs? The house is fine but all the extra costs make it expensive. Stay at the Westin and save yourself the headache. Also don’t be misled by positive reviews, they say they will waive the electricity charges if you leave a good review. So this bad one is costing me 137!! Which was my electric charge for 5 days.

Was looking forward to an amazing stay But
The pool , hot tub heater did not work .. very cold !!! The boat did not work waited tell the second day to get a replacement boat.. we had to clean out trash and clothing out of the first boat before we could use it. When we went to use it the shift cable was shot . The cables on the lift was all jacked up. We lost a day and a half of boating time .. very disappointed.
Full trash cans when we arrived we asked Fred to remove trash and he said if he remembered. He stopped by two more times and did not remove any of it.
So we had flies all over.
We rent a lot of VROB’s and never had to leave our trash next to a trash can due to over flowing trash from previous guests .
Over all the house was beautiful.., just disappointing that the management company did not clean the first boat or check that it was running correctly before we arrived. They should schedule trash removal after each group leaves when they check and clean the house.
If I was the owner of the property.. I would be disappointed.

False Information, refusal of amenities!
We booked 2 weeks at Villa Nautilus; the price included a boat to use at any time during our stay. As a result of the Hurricane I began reaching out to the property owner, VRBO and Vacation Rentals Cape Coral. I wanted to confirm that there was no damage and that all advertised amenities were still working/available. My intention was to cancel or re-schedule if there were issues. Property owner would not confirm; VRBO refused help until we arrived at the property and visually saw the problems; Vacation Rentals Cape Coral confirmed that everything was fine and boat was available.
When we arrived, the AC was broken, there was caution tape surrounding the boat & dock. We were displaced to a different house for the first week while they fixed the AC. When we got back to Villa Nautilus they refused use of the boat. I have requested some kind of financial compensation and neither property owner nor Vacation Rentals Cape Coral will respond.
So to recap; we were charged for 2 weeks at Villa Nautilus with a boat and received 1 week and no boat for the same price. This is fraud in my opinion.
We truly enjoyed our stay. The pool was great and the boat was thoroughly enjoyed. The house is in good condition and comfortable. The master bedroom mattress was very, very firm, but tolerable. Great stay!
This home exceeded all expectations! The pool and hot tub got a ton of use. The boat, although older, was one of the best parts. We went all over the place. The kids to the grandparents all agreed this was one of our best vacations. Thanks for making this so easy and fun!
We stayed a week just before Christmas with our 4 adult children. House was great! Pool and hot tub were perfect. The boat was awesome!! There are beach towels provided - very nice ones. 8 I believe. Only negative - No food/ spices basics. No trash bags, dish soap, dishwasher soap, laundry soap, toilet paper or paper towels. Dish towels were there but only one dish cloth. Owner and property manager were good to work with.
We had an amazing time. The house was exactly as listed. Clean with a lot of space. The boat is really what made our trip this time. North Captiva Island is absolutely beautiful. The management was very responsive. Josh was friendly and very helpful.
The staff was responsive and easy to work with. The house was well maintained and clean. The boat could have used a good cleaning ahead of us getting there but it ran like a dream and was easy to use. I reccomend this place to all.
We had a very positive experience. The house was very clean. The property manager was very accessible. The pool and hot tub were great! The boat was so fun-but it does need a good cleaning. We would stay here again but recommend they get better mattresses, all of them are uncomfortable (esp the king master).
Excellent vacation at this property! We enjoyed bicycle riding and boat riding. The variety of plants and greenery were exceptional around the neighborhood. We would love to visit again.
The only thing we would have done differently was stay longer! We loved the house and amenities, the boat was a great addition too. Thanks for a perfect vacation!
We LOVED our time and this home. The boat was a nice bonus and the "boat guy" who came to do the intro to the boat was our favorite person! We called when we arrived as stated in the instructions and were looking forward to an evening sunset boat ride. They informed us that it was never the plan and the boat guy would be coming the next day. The sliding glass door was stuck (like unusable stuck) and we informed the property manager as well as the boat guy. This was not a problem that started the previous week. There was a storm and there were loose screens; again we know things happen but there wasn't an urgency to get it fixed and neither the screens or door was fixed when we left after 5 days. The pool and spa was AMAZING! We spent a ton of time poolside. The beds were okay, not terrible but definitely not our best sleep. We used the grill the first night and the propane ran out. It states in the contract that you have to fill the tank or will pay a fine/replacement. Doesn't seem fair that one dinner prepared made us have to go to the store and get a new tank, but we did. There is a lovely washer and dryer but no laundry detergent. There were 2 pods for the dishwasher and 1 extra garbage bag. There was only enough toilet paper for 1 day so had to go to the store the next day to buy more. This is a nice rental but the worst with those "extras." I've rented a lot and those "extras" go a long way. We had to reuse the recycling container bag because we didn't have time to go to the store and didn't want to be charged a fee/replacement. All in all, was a lovely place as I've said, but was the worst in regards to feeling like we were being nickeled and dimed.
The home was very clean and beautifully decorated. It is close to several of our favorite restaurants and there are plenty of grocery stores nearby. Our favorite part was the pool. It was big, heated, and very comfortable. This location does come with a boat included, but we did not use it this time around, hopefully will be able to in the future. Would definitely book with this company again. They are very quick to respond throughout the entire rental process and during the stay. Thank you for a wonderful stay and vacation
The house was extremely clean, well appointed and as advertised. We had a fun time boating, and the fee to learn how to use the boat was worth every penny (and we are lake boaters). The only very minor hiccup was the arrival information was never received, but the owner quickly responded to provide instructions.
The home was as lovely as described. The property owner and manager answered calls immediately for all of my questions. We had no problems that had to be addressed. The boat is a typical rental, which is understandable, so it didn't quite meet our standards as we own a 2019 wake board boat with all the bells and whistles. My husband recently had rotator cuff surgery so he had difficulty steering. We just didn't want to mess with the boat during Hurricane Eta so it did not get used, but I thought it was awesome that a boat was offered with this house. This home is in a great location and makes it easy to get to everywhere fairly quickly. I definitely recommend this home and hope to stay here again.
The location, property, neighborhood was a great place to get away and just relax. I swam in the pool every morning, and had coffee afterwards. Then every other day we would get in the boat. There were a couple problems, but the managment came right away and fixed them. Thanks so much. Renee' Hansen
Our first review of a property, but one that needs to be done.
Pros: clean, prime location to water and restaurants, amazing pool and hot tub, great kitchen for cooking, boat and dock available for extremely low price compared to renting, fishing off the back dock, responsive property manager, roomy, two huge master bedrooms, and so much more it would take to long to type!!
Cons: House is extremely quiet...noises echo so if you have lite sleepers they will hear everything going on throughout the house. (Bring a fan for white noise), pool and hot tub were broken when we arrived but the property manager was able to get it fixed by the following day, rental property next door and thin walls equals restless nights; renters were up partying from 10pm to 4am and they are right by the master bedroom. Make sure you have the local police number!! This does not impact our review of the property, but advice for future renters.
Overall: The owners and property manager have a great property for large families. We hope to be back in the future!! Worth the value!!
