Great Little Condo

Great little condo exactly as described. Rooms are quite small but all we needed for a long weekend. Well stocked kitchen with coffee maker and Keurig. Beds were comfy, and towels were plush. Indoor pool and walking track were a plus as it was rainy and cool. There is also a great boardwalk through the marsh to access the beach. Love the special touches with waters and chocolates upon arrival. Only suggestion would be to add blackout curtains.

Nice unit, great resort

Overall this is a very clean unit with comfy beds and a sectional sofa, which is rare in these for some reason. Kitchen is fairly well equipped everything works as expected. Vacasa is a great rental agency and always provides great service and values their customers.

Great customer service - older place

First of all let me say that dealing with Turnkey could not have been easier than it was! The property is a bit older in general. The resort has been around for 30+ years. It has been updated some. All in all the bathrooms in this unit are tiny and it overall is smaller than I thought it would be (and I’ve stayed in other properties at this resort). It wasn’t too small, but the bathrooms were. I will say that after 3 nights of sleeping in a sloped king size bed my poor back couldn’t take it any more. I called and 11pm, spoke to a real person immediately and they sent someone the next day. The repair person actually texted me to make sure the timing was good for us, which is awesome! I also told him that my husband and I took the mattress up to see what the problem was. He asked for pictures and I sent them but told him the only real fix would be a new frame. It was completely wrecked. He found one and by 3 ish we had a brand new bed. I was really impressed by this and so appreciative! The kitchen has a decent selection of stuff to cook with. There was a reg coffee pot and a Keurig if you are a coffee gal like myself. We stayed in the building with the indoor pool/gym/track/hot tub/sauna and it was muggy and there’s no outdoor space attached to the unit itself if that matters to you. There is a walk to the beach too. It’s a pleasant walk through a marsh area (there is a boardwalk). At the end there is a fun place called Cocos on the beach (food is pretty good, price point a tad high). There are some toys and chairs at the unit for the beach. The cart has a broken wheel (luckily we brought our own) and I think there was a cooler. Ample towels for bathrooms and we brought our own beach towels so I didn’t look for them. The internet was too slow to successfully stream from our Firestick. We didn’t really do much TV watching. The door lock is a code and it was 10 digits so that was slightly tedious but not a deal breaker. I’d rent it again if my favorite unit is booked. I love Hilton Head Island and it’s a gorgeous beach! Hands down I’d rent from Turnkey again and again!!

Family vacation

This property worked well for our family. We appreciated being able to eat some of our meals in the condo and relax together in the evenings. Our kids enjoyed having the indoor pool right in our building to swim, especially when it rained. Some of the rooms are a little outdated, but we didn’t expect or need anything fancy.

Has everything you want or need

Loved it! Our rental was housed with all the necessities and extras including beach gear, towels, kitchen accessories, etc! Place was clean and well kept. Plenty to keep the family entertained... we loved the outside pool and the restaurant and shop located at that pool...shrimp and burgers were perfect and we picked up some fun items in the shop! The boardwalk walk to the beach is about 1/4 mile, but easy beautiful walk and loved the convenience of not having to drive! Pack a collapsible wagon for your beach supplies and you will be good! The whole family made some beautiful memories. Highly recommend!

First time in HH

Things about this property that were a disappointment were: dark and confining room with no balcony, overlooks indoor pool area which was not welcoming looking at all (dirt everywhere). We had several frustrating experiences with keyless lock not working. Contacted mgmt but didn’t respond until next day ( thank goodness it finally worked after 20 minutes of repeated attempts) . Obvious shortness of staff at pools, maintenance and security. Long walk to beach so pray you don’t forget something back in the room. Positives were clean enough, provided all necessary items and added beach supplies was nice to see. Overall, we were Not satisfied with HH area but if we ever did return we would stay elsewhere

Nice but small

It was a lot smaller than we expected for a group of 4 people and 1 infant. Really close to the pools but the distant to the beach is easily 10-15 minute walk as the shuttles were not always running.

Nice but needs updating

This was a nice place for our family to spend during our trip to HHI. The resort feels old and dingy as a whole and the room reflected that. The vanities were in desperate need of a paint job or even replacing. The king bed is sagging in the middle so that didn't make for a good night's sleep. Also, There was a masked cigarette smell in the main room. We probably wouldn't stay in this specific room again but will look at the resort for next time.

Awesome Stay

Hilton Head Villa

We had a great time at the property once we learned our way around. We spent more time at the pool than the beach mostly because the walk was a bit long in the heat, but if you are a beach lover for the reasonable price it is worth it. The Villa was perfect for the 4 of us and we had everything we needed. Everything we did from a dolphin watch, parasailing, shopping, and dining was within a reasonable drive. Perry is easy to access and was in communication with us during our stay. We had a great time!

Our Hilton Head trip

We had a wonderful time at Perry's beautiful property! Perry was incredibly kind and accommodating with our many requests. We celebrated our daughter's birthday there and had a fantastic time. We took advantage of the beautiful pools and loved the quick walk to the beach. We will definitely stay again!

Clean, cute & comfy!

Highly recommend this property! Clean, cute & comfy. Master bed super comfy! Full size frig! Communication with Perry was super easy. He worked with me on check out. Stayed for a tennis tournament, so wasn’t 100% sure how many nights we needed to stay. He was very generous & easy to talk to. Will def be back!

Great trip, condo as described

We had a great trip at this condo. Room was tidy and equipped. Besides ordering pizza, we were able to cook all of our meals. The overall property needs some updates but the condo itself was updated, and in a great location for the indoor pool. We loved the marsh walk where you can see lots of wildlife. It is a solid 10 minute walk but worth the experience. Alligators are in the lagoons as we were lucky enough to see one. We took a day trip to Sea Pines to eat and visit the lighthouse. Otherwise, we spent the days at the ocean. The beach area was not crowded and had lots of sea life, including live sand dollars, some as big as my hand. Several sea turtle nests too. We grabbed a couple beverages at Coco's and were pleased. There is a washer and dryer on this floor and it is $1.75 to use each. We we're happy to have the beach cart but the wheels are failing, so we didn't use the cooler on the cart. We had a great time and can't wait to return next year! Thanks, Perry!

Great place!!!

We had a fabulous time at the Hilton Head Resort for the week. Our 2 bedroom/2 bath villa was the perfect size and a great location to shopping, biking, beach and pools. Perry has thought of everything!! He is always quick to respond and pays attention to the details. This is our 3rd time renting from him and we plan to head that way for a 4th visit. Thank you Perry for opening up your place...we love it there!!!
